MLP - Octavia getting annoyed

Here's a new fanart! This time, Octavia notices that Vinyl is looking at her, but she gets annoyed by the way she looks at her.

I wanted to do something different with her hair, but in order to do it properly I picked many different references, more than usual. Photos, art, etc. Also, I wanted to turn a little bit the drawing before starting the color phase. I think this inclination would make this a little bit refreshing, instead of everything being steady.

MLP - Octavia getting annoyed (WIP)

This is gonna be the new fanart. This time I took more references than usual, mainly for the ocean, the sky and some effects related to the hair in order to nail it in the final result.

For the light, the main idea is Octavia being backlit. The light goes to her body, but not her back, so I'll work on some multiply layers for the shadows and the occlusion. I'm not sure when this is gonna be ready, probably tomorrow or the next day. I'll let you know later.

MLP - Three girls on the bed

New fanart! This time, Sunset Shimmer and Geek Twilight are having fun with Pinkie Pie.

During the entire drawing process, the main light was pink. However, I wasn't really convinced because it saturated lots of colors, especially Sunset Shimmer's hair. The orange light was a final sudden change that I think is more appealing. In the original drawing, Pinkie Pie was less thick.

This is gonna be the next fanart. It still needs more details like the shadows, the brightness and some adjustments for the color composition. The original one had some unnecessary scratches, so I deleted them.

So here's a new fanart to celebrate Halloween! This is based on a request I've read a couple of days ago. And considering that I needed to make more Sunset Shimmer fanart, I thought it would be a good idea to make something for her.

This one took me a bit longer than I expected even though it was very straightfoward, mainly because of the color palette. At first I wanted to use the red-green contrast, but I realized I already did that the last year, so I was experimenting with the blue...

Hi. Sorry that it took me so long to post anything, but this is something I'm making for October 31th. You're gonna see it much earlier, like 29th or 30th.

I'd like to make the background a dark blue sky, with some stars... and the main light will be orange, covering Sunset Shimmer from the angle of the viewer. I used grey for the background because I tend to put a different clear color, just in case a darker color from the same layer would "eat" the ink scratches of Sunset.

New fanart with Applejack and Rarity!

Like most of the uniforms I've made for them, Applejack's uniform is gonna be the same orange tone of her skin from the TV show (except Pinkie Pie who will wear a magenta uniform because I think that color is more appealing than just pink).

This time I wanted to experiment a little bit with the occlusion. I used blue, purple and magenta. Both colors gave me different results, but at the end of the day, I used purple and blue.

This is gonna be the next fanart. I've drawn Rarity with a bunnysuit before, two years ago, but this time I also wanted to draw Applejack with this uniform.

I've been trying different tones for the shadows. Sometimes it's magenta, purple or blue. But most of the time will be in multiply mode for a dark tone. In the original inked file, the left hand of AJ was visible, but it was very weird, so I changed it.

MLP - More work for Fluttershy (WIP + some sketches)

Sorry that I haven't posted anything these days. I've been dealing with some personal problems. With that out of the way, this is gonna be the next fanart. I wanted to finish some sketches I've been making, but some of them are not very good and other ones need some rework. I wanted the glass to be transparent so I can toy with the lights and the crystal.

I've added two layers of hue/saturation and color balance so I can work with the lights later and much easier.

New fanart today! Here we can see Applejack seducing Rarity.

Although I like shipping Rarity and Coco Pommel, this shipping is fun to draw. The palm trees were made by using a specific brush. Then, I gave them some shadows and light to make them visually believable. The sweat drops were the last details I've drawn.

This is gonna be the next fanart. I wanted to post it here this weekend, but some unexpected problems happened.

The tricky thing here was figuring out how to draw the palm trees. At first I used a different brush, but it didn't look right. Then I changed it to a mixer brush. Now the scratches look better.

MLP - Delicious cider (with NSFW version)

Here's a new fanart about Applejack drinking cider. I've made a NSFW version where her areolas are visible, but the first version will be in DeviantArt tomorrow.

Making the background was kinda tricky because the scratches weren't natural, so to avoid that I changed the layer with a missed focus. The result was nice, but it left some blue lines from the sky I needed to fix. Now the result is convincing. The rest is the usual thing: More layers in multiply mode for the shadows, more lay...

MLP 87 - A Second Twilight

So, after a break and new equipment for future drawings, there's a new comic that will be in DeviantArt tomorrow. After shipping Twilight with Pinkie Pie and Celestia and then shipping Twilight with Tempest, I thought it might be funny to do that with the Geek Twilight from the Equestria Girls movies. This is gonna be the next fanart. The inked drawing had some unconvincing scratches, so I cleaned it up.

I'm not sure if this would need a background. I could draw a beach which would take me some time or I could use a different brush for one color and one specific texture. That way I could gain some time and I would focus on other works.

Sorry I couldn't post anything these last days. I had some personal problems related to anxiety that didn't let me work properly. Working on a fanart for the future 100.000 pageviews (cleaned lineart)

A couple of weeks ago I was resting in another city for a week. While I was resting, I've been doing some sketches for a fanart as a way to celebrate the 100.000 pageviews that I'll get soon. MLP - Sweetie Belle buys the Switch

This is a fanart I've made a couple of days ago. At first I didn't want to make it because I had some problems with Spike's head design. For example, before the final result, he had more details on his nose. The more I saw his nose, the more odd it was, to I decided to keep it simple for the view.
