3rd sketch with Thomas sums up January for me!

2024 doesn't promise to be easy at all, but I'm hoping to be able to draw my OCs each month anyway, even if it's just a few silly doodles. Also I made some good progress with the reboot script! Keeping you updated that I'm still actively working on it.

Watercolor drawing process

Last year I got to collaborate with Kuretake for Kikan S magazine (issue 84)! They needed a watercolor painting from me using their product, and I painted this picture of Lilith using their Gansai Tambi Set II and Grafit colors set.

They also required a written tutorial, which I'm attaching as PDF to this post! I wanted to make a voiced video using the written text, but unfortunately this month is really packed with work.

bonus: image of me working hard on the reboot. Which is going well! This month I figured out some parts I was stuck with, and I'm slowly starting to write the prologue and doing the layouts, so exciting!

Model drawing/one piece/real time recording

This time it's a longer video, you can sketch along with it on the background or take a look at my sketching process. I didn't include all the sketches - sometimes I would accidentally draw off the camera (positioning the camera while maintaining a comfortable workplace is really hard!).

I also didn't include digital editing, but if I do a video like this again I'll make sure to include it! (and to position the camera better)

This month's zeet studio sketches! As always colors and editing done afterwards. Miku drawings were made in Porcreate on iPad; Law sketches with ball point pen in a sketchbook.

Monthly drawings

Hello! This month my long-awaited vacation began, but I still managed to squeeze in a couple of Zeet studio sessions. Also added some uncoloured sketches (Mike session was done in procreate)

Model drawings with Zeet studio

Had so much fun joining character-themed drawing sessions with Zeet studio in July and August! Excited to do more of these in future~ All the lines were done within the mentioned time frame, and colors were mostly added after (except for a few 10-15 mins sketches, where I was able to add the flats right away)

Part of this month's drawings is based on the birthday card I did for Rem/Tsulala, who creates Devil's Candy webcomic together with Bikkuri! I drew LW characters as devils in DC AU :) Still on my Lilith/Tom streak wehehe ♡ (plus two random sketches of them in Byleth outfits from Fire Emblem, because I pulled Byleth with a free pull in FE:heros)

The weather this month kept me home with AC, so I was drawing OCs and working on the reboot script. So happy with how it's finally coming together, and the more of the script I figure out, the more I get excited about drawing my characters~

It's taking more time than I first planned due to this month being really hectic: two work deadlines overlapped and also I had to do some health checks. But I'm finally wrapping up work stuff, and after that getting back to commissions and original art!

LW update: I've been coming up with different arc ideas for the main story this month! As I'm getting closer to actually drawing the story I'll be posting more LW-related content here (I'm thinking about making an open YT account for pleinair videos, so Patreon will be solely for supporting the production of LW). Unfortunately some of the content (like concepts) are spoilers >_< Have to wait to share it with the world! But I'll continue making sketches like these to share with everyone~...

Hi there! 

This month's video is my second real time drawing video with background sounds. It's not a full process, I had to cut out some of the later footage because of the curious tourist groups who were stopping by to take a look, but most of the process is there.

Hope you enjoy and thank you for your support! Thanks to it I can experiment with different  types of content and spend more time doing personal art.

I've been really enjoying traditional media this month and managed to finish two illustrations: one of Lilith and her brother (inked on paper and coloured digitally), and a watercolour illustration of @ CosmicSpectrum's OCs. Including some photos of the steps in this post!
