A couple of sketches I did this month (trying to play with traditional media more)

I did the second sketch first and liked how the hair came out, so I tried to repeat it, but record a video this time (I'm editing it right now for the belated October video, thanks for waiting, I'm working towards catching up!)

Meanwhile I'm still busy with work, but I'm really close to the middle of the current project! Starting to feel the breath of fresh air~~ Also such a long hiatus makes me mis...

this month's video will be a bit late! I'm still finishing a big amount of work for my job, so I had to postpone everything else.

I'm going to be out of town for the weekend though, to get some rest, so maybe I'll record a traditional media video while I'm there) I didn't sketch traditionally for so long, it might be a good opportunity.

Changes in check-out process

UPD: the changes will be applied tomorrow, Aug 4th. Current patrons will be charged on the 1st of the month like usual.

I learned recently that Patreon allows to charge patrons as soon as they subscribe, so it prevents people from "sampling" accounts and then leaving before patreon charges them in the end of the month. I scanned my sketchbook with life drawings from travels! I didn't draw much last year, so it took me long time to gather a decent amount of sketches for a PDF, and it contains drawings from 2018 to this year.

Discord channel!

Hello, everyone!

UPD: Other users helped me with instructions! If you want to connect to our Discord server, you need to go to your patreon membership and click the connect to the discord, if your patreon is already linked to the discord you might need to disconnect then reconnect discord to patreon again, so it register with our sever.

I've also added some custom LW emojis there!

Another time-lapse from this month (this time w/o voice-over, I can do only one at a time haha;)

This one was experimental - I tried another video angle (I'm not a fan of this one to be honest, it's not very comfortable to draw avoiding the camera all the time, the drawing still gets distorted due to perspective, and also the tripod gets in the frame).

Also I tried using a "new" sketchbook that was collecting dust for months or even years.. It's called "Super Deluxe" by Bee paper ...

I announced another Coco fanart earlier on Patreon, but I started it when I was stuck abroad on a lockdown, and after so much time it was hard to get back to it, so I decided to start with a new idea for the drawing.

Various drawings from this month! I tried drawing traditionally more - I don't remember the last time I drew something in my sketchbook for fun.. And I mostly drew Lilith's Word characters this month, because I want to start updating the comic this summer and needed some practice after a long break. The drawing with Thomas and Lilith is a part of a line-up I'm working on - it's about time I did a reference with all the characters ^^U

How I learn from photo studies

For this month I tried something new for the reward, and made some notes about how I do photo studies! (Couldn't do any videos due to technical difficulties..)

I’m usually not very good at explaining my process, bc I do a lot of things intuitively, so it was beneficial for me as well. I hope you'll find something useful in these notes! Gathering them together was actually fun and I hope to do more tips in future.

This month I managed to do some studies in the very beginning of the month, and then I was busy moving back home (I managed to register for evacuation flight, and by the end of the month I finally returned home!). Monthly drawing

This time instead of sketches I prepared a Lilith’s Word illustration/extra page with Bonnie! My laptop is still in repair service, so I thought that making a colored illustration would be a good practice to get used to iPad (I used Clip Studio), and also get back to drawing LW characters. The hiatus I had to take was so long that it’s hard to draw them, ouf...

I’m still on a lockdown away from home, and my laptop completely broke last week 😔 I was lucky to find repairs service here, but I don’t know how long it will take to repair it, how much it will cost, and if it’s even repairable 💦 LUCKILY I still have an iPad, so I’ll try making monthly video using it, hope everything works out! I'm stuck on quarantine in another country, but I'm lucky to be staying with my artist friend, who kindly shared her art tools with me, so I was able to draw and record this piece. COVID-19 update

Hi everyone!

Just a note about my current situation. I'm visiting my friend in Europe, and if I come home now my family will have to keep quarantine with me,  so I decided to stay abroad for another month and see how it goes. It's really hard to make travel plans right now, the situation in our country is unpredictable and we already had to cancel another trip, so I think it makes sense to wait a little bit.

I was concerned about Deity tier at first, because I don't have many...
