Wow, it's been FOREVER since we've drawn Wonder Tot. She's so friggin cute too, really pops with what Martin's doing with the padding, shading and eyes in this picture. ^^ Great shot of her, was very happy to get a commission involving her.
Captain Marvel looks okay. I recently had to draw her a few times more and was able to perfect her groovy haircut. You'll see what I mean eventually.
And also the mom from Sky High is here.
Again, the SS4 pajamas are the main appeal here. It's a form that you can really appreciate how different it is from Goku's other powered-up forms. Even if GT's not a great show, I'd rank the 4 form easily over 2 and 3 in terms of a good-looking, well-executed transformation.
But yeah, here he is looking extra cuddly being berated by offscreen Pan. ^^
Yeah, we were a little tired of the old template we were using for the illustrated stories, so I asked Martin if he could make a new one; he came up with this great replacement that nicely fit the Storybook feel we'd been aiming for with this set-up. ^^ Meshing the pictures and text together flows very naturally like this, and it keeps Manga Studio from chugging or freezing while the pages are put together.
But yeah, Thomas and Kayda both show that they want to help people, and despit...
QUESTIONS!
1. Which color scheme is better?
2. How cute are those clown-car diapers?
3. How much later to the party could we be?!
Heheh... Yeah, Chihiro is just innocently asking for some help from Arata, both characters from ReLIFE. .... The unflinching casualness did a lot to make this funnier. ^^ That and there's something just cute about her walking around with that thing like that. Like, "Hey, can somebody like... do this?"

Heheh... Yeah, this was one I loved throwing out. Promised Neverland is a really cute anime once you get past the terrifying central premise, so we had to do something with the cast. We started with a picture of Emma and Martin suggested this premise.

I believe we first did this just after I finished playing through Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, would certainly explain why it was on our radar. Very fun game, would recommend it. The main thing I remember about doing this picture is spending a long time trying to get the trees to a point where I felt satisfied with the coloring on them and never really managed it.

Heheh.... Yeah, Negi just can't get a break from us. Attempting yet again to cast a spell winds up making him padded yet again. At least he seems to be getting a T-Rex plush out of it. That, the hand hauiling his old ones away, and the one that seems to be scolding him are all touches that really put this over. That and the dinosaur-padding, always a fun diddy.

Very happy with how this one turned out; you might notice that in this page, moreso the second half of it, we started working on overhauling how we do face shapes and trying to give them more dimension. Very much a work in progress but we're really happy with it.

When looking at School Rumble drawings on Patreon, be sure to be in a well lit room and don't get too close to the monitor!
This was done as kind of an experiment with trying to really mimic the show's shading style. Pretty happy with the results, we've been eager to submit it for a long time.

Very much recommend the game Celeste if you haven't played it, think it's on Game Pass if you have Xbox though I played it on the Switch.

This page was a little weird to write. The original form of it was actually a couple of panels longer but felt like it was lacking focus; shortening it and switching around some of the events of it made it feel much more directed in a clear direction I think. We think it came out very cute so hopefully everyone's going to enjoy this one.

Golly gee willikers, who doesn't love Ghost Stories, that gosh-darnedest most fantastic show about those sweet heavens innocent rapskallians having the rip-roaringest time with the ding-dongiest ghosts Japan has to offer? Good Golly Holly, that's one great, wholesome piece of Japanamation for the whole family to enjoy!

Honestly, Ghost Stories is up there for one of my favorite anime, and not just for that one dub. Felt great to do a group shot for it. ^^
