October 6 was a fun day for anime. Spy X Family Season 2 and Rising Of The Shield Hero Season 3 both dropped yesterday. Since the 7th is an update day and we had pictures for both shows in progress, we just spruced them up and got them ready for submission and made it a double-feature! Hope you readers all enjoy!

Sorry for submitting this one so late in the day, we finished drawing it yesterday but had stuff getting in the way of getting it actually colored in a timely manner. At least managed to get it before midnight I guess.

The Pokemon battles themselves are a big part of the franchise and it's something I really wasn't sure how to do for this series. It needed to show the battles while still keeping them sort of out-of-the-way and most importantly very easy to draw. Heheh... Yeah, no idea how this'll do, but we do love Lake and the tragically-derailed Infinity Train so it's always a good time to take the excuse for drawing more. In this case Alan Dracula uses his awesomeness to provide a changing table where Lake can get a diaper change.

Bonus update! We already had a simple Resident Evil 4 picture sitting around, because remake Ashley is a treasure, so quickly wrapped that up as kind of a bonus thing to tie into Separate Ways going up in a few hours since hey, not going to get that kind of synergy again any time soon.

Heheh.... Yeah, it's been a bit since we hit Steins;Gate. We naturally had to show it off and be extra silly with it here, especially with Okabe's over-the-top nature. I actually think this picture started from us trying to get that pose of his just right. Not sure how we settled from there who to have in the picture with him.... Either way, came out right cute, didn't it? We had a lot of fun trying to think of something dynamic and exciting to do with the background.

Something cute and punchy with Midoriya to start the month off, eh? ^^
I'm really surprised we're submitting this picture, mostly because I could've sworn we'd already done so. It's the sort of thing where we wrapped up the main work on it forever ago, then just did a lot of tiny here-and-there refinements on-and-off for a while. The way these comics are put together is... a little janky? But they're done in an order where the dialog is one of the last things that gets added. Hm. We're revamping how we draw babies lately and this would've been a ripe candidate for it. A big tell that an art shift is going in the right direction is if everything else we've done looks wrong by comparison.
Either way, this was cute use of that little property. I loved giving Bubbles Octi and Buttercup her blanket~
Heheh... Yeah, this is the last in this little mini-comic series, but we had a lot of fun with it. In particular I love all the back-and-forth dialog. My favorites are Ness and Paula's "exchange" in the second panel and Jeff's line of "I'm not even supposed to be part of the party yet!"
Another good touch; Ness's little PSI-Rockin' attack as that red, spikey music note. Tiny touch but you know what he's about to start doing~
Heh, yeah, this one was fun to do. Natural gag having Kayda be all serious and ominous then immediately casual but am happy with how it came out, kind of a good way to first really get to establishing these two's dynamic together.

Heh. Yeaaaah, a sequel to our last Life Is Strange picture; in this one Max decided to try and use her time-powers to avoid having to sacrifice Chloe OR Arcadia Bay, and wound up shattering timespace to render them babies permanently in a bizarre nursery version of their home town.
Chloe's cool with it, though Max is apparently having second thoughts....
