Progress Report 6/12/20

Iiiiiit's Friday! Aaaaand now I have that song stuck in my head. And now you do, too. Here's what I got done this week:

Progress Report 6/5/20

Hello everyone! I'm not gonna lie, I almost forgot that today's Friday. Here's a list of everything that has been accomplished this week:

  • Finished functionality for the gallery buttons that move between images
  • Finished the gallery zooming and panning functionality (this was supposed to take 15 minutes, but ended up taking 7 hours...)

Charging up-front

Hello everyone!

I've been thinking about this for quite a while, and I'm going to be making a small change to how payments work. But first, I'd like to make sure it won't affect any of you negatively.

I'd like to have Patreon charge my new patrons up-front for their first payment instead of waiting until the first of the month before they're charged. Theoretically, this shouldn't affect those who are already paying patrons, only those who are just joining.

Status Update 5/21

Hello everyone!

Let me begin by apologizing for the lack of updates these last few weeks. I entered a bit of a slump, but I'm back out and working hard on the CG update! This update is a bit tricky since I can't give progress pictures without spoiling the CG, so I'll have to stick with boring old words for now. :P

Grape Escape v1.2.1

Changelog:

  • The foot now increases in speed after every five stomps, telegraphed by "Speed+".
  • Made foot tracking slower to begin with to help avoid dying to the first stomp unfairly.
  • Refined the foot stomp animation.

Tier Changes

Hello everyone!

The polls have spoken! Here's a list of the changes I've made to my Patreon:

  • The $20 tier has been removed
  • The $5 tier now has access to play games while they're still in development

Possible change to the Tiny Tier

I've been doing a lot of thinking about this, and I'm strongly considering changing the Tiny tier to be a lower price, or removing it entirely and offering the benefits to lower tiers. I know I've been a little flip-floppy on this lately, and I apologize for any confusion it's causing. I'm still learning the ropes of the business side of things.

Status Update 2/10

I'm not gonna lie to you. These menus are kicking my butt. They're taking significantly longer than I would have liked, and it's primarily because Unity's built-in menu navigation tools don't really agree with how I have my menus set up. In other words, blame Unity for my lack of interesting updates. ;P

A New Menu Has Appeared!

Whelp, this is what I spent the day on. And you know what? I'm pretty happy with it! It's still quite bland as far as aesthetics go, but that'll be remedied soon enough. For now, this baby will:
    - Change your resolution
    - Toggle full screen

Status Update 1/25

Code Cleanup is Done!

FINALLY! Sweet merciful jellybeans, that was tedious! To put this into perspective, imagine coding a game... Now code it again but better. @_@  Since this is an update that includes bug fixes, this will be released to the public later today.
