Yeah, this draft seems a bit messy. Before publishing it I tried to clear some mess and hide some layers with basic sketching, but some of the elements are still hard to see, because of the large amount of rough lines. Therefore I must make these details more accurate when I do lining next.

One more commissioned sequel is done, one more position from my to-do-list is about to be closed now. As I can understand, commissioner was very happy to get it all done, and that's already enough for me.

Honestly, even though this was a single image, this commission was very hard for me and I wasn't very enthusiastic about drawing this. From one, I was afraid to even take in my drawing list anything related with humans, because the uncanny valley effect constantly follows me when I'm trying to draw the human faces. My original plan was about to put something simple for the background, but I've lost the moment, when the "simple" turned in to the landscape with balcony and town. Anyway, I hope the commissioner will like the final result.

Another sketch of the day, for another commissioner.
This is my first chance of drawing underwater plants, and also this is my second attempt to draw a human.
I initially refused to take such orders with a human character for a very long time (cause I simply doesn't have enough experience of drawing humans, as I can't charge for it any reasonable prices), but the current commissioner was very persistent with having an art from me.

I don't want to say that such kind of persistence ...

Sometimes I think like I need more practice with displaying character's expressions on drawing scenes, and unfortunately not many commissioned arts gives ma good opportunity for that.
That's why I decide to make a quick scratching of this one, in order to cover my small need for more drawing practice of such kind of the tasks.

Oh my, this one is pretty old piece, which has been start in the distant past, and has been dropped unfinished somewhere about 5 years ago. But by browsing my folder with some of my drafts tonight, I've come to the idea to actually make a try to finish this art. Why not? Especially if this current year is the dragon's year!
