New Year, New Me, New Process!

Hey everyone! Happy 2026.

I didn't do a lot last year in terms of animations for a number of reasons, mostly because of IRL stuff, but since I'm nearing the end of college and have a much more concrete schedule and confidence in my workflow Im eager to try some new stuff out this year.

[Animation WIP] Drone Growth Upgrades

WIP of an animation I started a while ago! Its going to be very long so it wont come out for a while, this is just the first half of the first scene. Theres going to be 3 characters which is also why it'll take a while. Im also going to make a commissioned animation before this one is complete. There's not much growth in this first scene, but I like doing narrative stuff with a lot of dialogue. Hope you guys enjoy!

What Game Genre Would You Want for a Hyper-Growth Game with Drones?

Hey yall!

I want to try and learn Unreal Engine 5 next year, so I can start working on making a game featuring my drones. I'll initially just be doing simple projects involving the basics of development, but later on I'm gonna do a project thats more of a full game. I have several ideas for what I'd want to make though, so I'm curious to see if you guys have a preferred genre you'd want to see.

[WIP] Assaultron Head

Been modelling an Assaultron head for a model commission! Very happy with how it turned out so I decided to show off the mesh. I made the laser the eye, since I think the tiny lil nipple eyes are kinda silly. It has an eyelid that can be posed for expression, as well as rotating gears to add a bit of motion.

Which growth method would you like to see in an animation?

Planning a personal animation for the future, basically a bit of a slice-of-life series of vignettes of slow, consistent growth with moments of explosive size increase. Im curious what you guys find to be the hottest. All of these would include a lot of working out and flexing scenes.

Ares' homeworld is the biggest planet in the universe (~1AU), so he looks significantly smaller standing on its surface than he does compared to the Earth. He's the same size in all of these images, by the way.

I havent been doing quite as much as usual because I've been giving weekly whole-pint-of-blood donations for a medical condition I have. Fortunately I only have to do this for a month or so, and im about 1/3 of the way done already. As a result of giving so much so often though, im quite physically tired.
