This one was super tricky and I almost gave up on it before getting a request for it. But there's a trick to it. Each piece of furniture is actually two objects. I split the books from the seat and divided the original object cost between them (§50 for the books and the rest is the seat).

A higher-end version of the P.R.I.M.A. Laptop I just released. This version has more colorful lights and better stats, but will cost your sims a bit more at §4250.

There is only one basegame laptop and it's locked behind a career. That annoyed me so I decided to make my own, using that one as a base and snagging the logo from a desktop computer. This is also my first mesh edit!

No longer is the Chill Box 9200 a useless end table! Now it can function as a mini fridge as it always should have (I actually debated really hard with myself about whether this should be in the "Should Have Been" mod series or this one)

I know a few other people have done medicine cabinet mods but none of them were exactly what I was looking for so I made my own.
This turns some bathroom mirrors and cabinets into storage chests. They share storage with one another and with other chests (unless you have a mod for that). The mirrored ones still have the essential mirror functionality as well as storage functionality.

I love all the real life diversity that the Sims has started adding! I try to always give my sim children toys that can represent them, the kind that parents would want their kids to have.

It bothers me so much that we have all these different shades of brown hair but if you want your sim to be graying they have to have the bright brown. So when I started playing a legacy for the first time and wanted my founder to gray more naturally I realized I needed to make a darker version of her hair. I finally figured out what I wanted to do for hand soap! It's actually based on some existing functionality in the game: the soap dispenser upgrade that sinks can get.

This mod is a little different and it does a few things. First, it disables brushing your teeth without a hidden buff. With the base version of the mod, all you have to do to get the buff is to place a toothbrush object and be near it.

I didn't like the bright pink and blue versions of Blarffy so I added versions that just change the ribbon color to pink and blue. Then I decided that wasn't enough so I made a set of more muted colors. It's nothing fancy or exciting but I like the new options better than the originals (although I left the bright ones there in case you like them too)

Now you don't need to already be sunbathing to apply sunblock! Using this object applies the same Island Living sunblock buff that prevents sunburn. They can even use it from their inventory!

The NanoCan is a cool object because it lets your sims earn money from throwing things away, but it never matches anything so you have to choose between the functionality and a coherent kitchen color scheme.
So I made new swatches without the bright blue that are more likely to actually match a room. They still look a bit scifi with the lights, but that's because the lights are functional when the object does its thing. Plus I like scifi.
As a new month approaches, for the first time I have an actual patron! While I have no intention of locking my mods behind a paywall I do want to do something nice.
So I've decided that starting in December I'm going to upload a monthly gift to patrons. It won't be any new functionality (just little stuff like recolors) and the following month it will become available to everyone so please don't feel like you need to subscribe or miss out.

Another pretty simple mod to make books stuck to an object actually functional. The fireplace still functions as normal, but now you can get books from it as well.

With this mod sims can dry off to a few wet uncomfortable moodlets or change into and out of a towel manually. They will also change out of it autonomously if left to their own devices.
UPDATE 4/19/23:
Now the fireplaces with built-in mirrors can actually serve as mirrors while still having their fireplace functionality. I have not included the clothes-changing mirror functionality because the menu was so cluttered with it and it seemed silly to change clothes at the fireplace anyway.
