Baby Got Backstage

So there were a few more happy snaps on the roll from my backstage moments at the circus. I'm still sad it was all over so soon but I sure did have fun while I was there.

Scroll to the end for a situation I'm often in- you're going out after the show but you don't have a chance to have a shower before you go. Hopefully nobody gets a nasty surprise later, hehe.

Doing My Makeup

People often ask me about if I do my own makeup. THANKYOU THAT'S VERY FLATTERING. But no I am nowhere near that flexible. So the process goes like this: Show up at the gig. Too Freaky for the Freakshow

So, in a very surprising and disappointing turn of events, my act was cut from the Freakshow!! Even though a few other acts had already been cut, I didn't see it coming, since the Director had said he loved my act :(

I don't know if its true but they told me "the guys from Rammstein thought it was too much." They cancelled me the day after they came.

I'm very upset but I will do a video with more information and reflect.

Backstage Fun

The Dog Finally Onstage Again

It's been a while! It felt great to let it all hang out on stage again, especially in front of such big and enthusiastic crowds. The sausages got a spontaneous round of applause on the first night, perhaps helped by the fancy ROTATING STAGE!

I met audience members after the show and was very impressed by their commitment. One had driven 5 hours to be there, another woman was coming to watch it again the next day...One woman offered me to slap her boobs in return for her patting the dog....

We officially opened the show in Berlin last night after a few previews and a week of rehearsals. The house was packed, full of energy and great people. Of course Til Lindemann from Rammstein also made an appearance!

Ukraine: One of the greatest parties of my life

Today marks one year since the war in Ukraine began. For many people Ukraine sounds like a far away, unknown place. Me too, until I visited just a few months before Russia invaded.

I was lying on my couch when I received a message on telegram from an unknown number. It said:

Do you want to come to three days of music and dancing in an abandoned sanatorium in the magical Carpathian mountains? We will provide all transfers, meals, accomodation and entertainment for 150 euro. Let me ...

Music Concert of Epic Proportions

Clown Slam March - Full Video

Since I spoke a lot about my show, Clown Slam in the last post regarding the book interview, I thought I'd share a little more. This was my brain child and baby, and the show I'm absolutely most proud of. Before Corona, I had a residency staging this show monthly at the fabulous Ufa Fabrik Internationales Kulturcentrum. It is a gorgeous venue, complete with beautiful ecological garden outside and they always treat us so well. They really took a chance on me and always supported my dumb ideas ...

A real life show! Free ticket offer.

Ok...so almost. But where would we be without a little bit of false advertising ;)

I am producing a real life cabaret show....remotely. But still. Very exciting!

Oh hi there! Some very nice behind the scenes pictures from the most recent photo shoot!

I've taken advantage of the slightly warmer spring weather to get outside and play around! Felt great to be out and about and creative again. Not sure what I'm channeling here but its inspired by some classic Marlene Dietrich, with what seems to be some 20s gangster energy.

I felt great dressed this way and adopted a real swagger even as I walked down the street to meet the photographer.  ...

Whole Bumdog Das Supertalent Sketch

Well since Youtube rather meanly deleted my video, here it is again on the new platform!

The whole, uncut Das Supertalent clip that aired in all of its glory, which I am technically not allowed to share ;) But I'm sure you won't tell anyone. It is the whole thing including the judges feedback, spoiler alert: I didn't win.

I'm sorry if you don't understand German, but I'm sure you get the gist. Two of them pretend to be horrified, the white guy says its great, its not a winning act...
