One hour ago I posted an override for the kitchen sponge.

But that top part of the texture was bothering me a little.

Since usually who download my cc like it as realistic as possible, I decided to fix it.

So if you had already downloaded it, you can replace with the new one.

I'm sorry for the incovenience of having to download it again.

But I think it was a change for the better :)

It's taking longer for me to post the overrides than I thought it would.

But I'm carefully creating each item and paying attention to details.

These chopped tomatoes for example, not all slices look the same.

This is looking so realistic in game that I got shocked, since I'm testing it with maxis match items 😅

It's now about the items our Sims chop while cooking.

The food item has to stages: normal and chopped.

In the EA version it's like the picture above. 

First we get the food in its whole form, then a half chopped piece of the food+ fully chopped parts.

As you probably know (because I've said this a million times lol), I'm working on the food items replacements.

The problem is that a few items don't have a name or description. They're simply called "bottle". But I have to replace them, so I'd like your opinions.

* The ones that EA actually named, so I know what they are: the spice, curry, flavor extract, milk. The "salt" one is also called "spice", but I think it looks better as salt.

TS4: Kawaii Lamp Set

It's been a while since I've seen these lamps on Pinterest.

They're very cute, right? ^^

So I decided to create and put them on a set :)

There are 4 table lamps and 1 floor lamp, with many swatches.

The floor lamp is a little high poly (because there are many beads/circles). But if you usually use high poly objects, it won't be a problem for you :)

Type “channel4sims - kawaii lamp” to find it on buy mode :)

IMPORTANT: If you can’t enable CC

This is a problem that has happened to some simmers, including myself.

Whenever EA gives us a new TS4 update, the “enable CC” option disappear/don’t work.

This problem happens because your current game version doesn’t match the number on the “GameVersion” file.

I made a video some time ago explaining how to fix it. It’s in English, but there are subtitles in Portuguese and Spanish if you need :)

TS4: Incense Burner Functional

Some time ago I was watching a vlog on Youtube and saw this incense burner.

It looked very aesthetic and calming, so I decided to bring it into the game :)

It works as a lamp, but not really XD

I wanted you to be able to turn it on and off, so I used one of those candle lamps from base game to create it.

It does not light the room. When you turn it on, it will only light that part where the fire was supposed to burn the incense, and also the smoke effe...

TS4: No Washing Dishes EA Sink Collection Mod

It's really annoying when there's a sink in the kitchen and our Sim chooses to wash the dishes in the bathroom sink far away, right?

To solve this I had an idea. I cloned all EA's sinks (up to this moment) and removed the "wash dishes" options from them.

This collection comes with 48 sinks. Sims can use it normally for all other functions. But they won't be able to wash dishes in it.

So, you can use the a normal sink (that comes with the game) in the kitchen...

ABOUT THE FOOD OVERRIDES

TS4: Japanese Vintage Wall Art

I've been working on many other things.

But I found some vintage japanese paintings and posters, and decided to make a wall frame with them :)

Type "channel4sims - japanese vintage" on buy mode and they'll show up. There are 45 swatches :)

Studio version X In game version 😅

Ok, so, just sharing a little "backstage fail" with you...

This is why sometimes it takes a while to post cc. You spend a long time modeling, texturing, and everything finally seems fine in the Studio.

Then you test it in game and there are a lot of weird lines and shadows, and you have to fix or start over hah

It was just a first try of the apples the other day. The final result will look different. Specially those crazy lines 😅

TS4: Credit Card Motherlode Deco

Honestly, I think cooking is a little boring. There aren't many differences between one recipe and another.
