This has been in the works for like... MONTHS.

I'm happy to announce that I'm starting a Free Huey Foodbank initiative. It'll be announced on the main channel shortly, however, I wanted you guys to be privy to this first.

The graphics above communicate essentially what the goals of this initative is, and how I plan to execute it. It'll require the support of the channel cause' uhhhh, I'm a black guy in debt and a minimum wage job but hey, that's never stopped me before...

Long story short, I lost my job about a week ago and it's slowed down video production a little. Things are certainly looking up, but for the sake of my well-being I've been prioritising getting another job more than video production.

The Boondocks | Projecting Reality

Almost a spiritual successor video to the Black Escapism one.

This video is more me lamenting my fascination with how The Boondocks is received now, compared to when it first dropped.

Thinking of trying to create/support a Free Breakfast Program.

I've been recently deliberately a lot on what I can do to use this platform responsibly, but also feeding into that desire of wanting to do right. And, I've slowly been coming to this conclusion that I want to be able to feed those in poverty in some way/shape/form.

Naturally it won't be easy, and I certainly don't know the first thing about getting something like that set-up. But, I felt like it was important that I communicated that goal to all of you at the very least.

Off The Record is Back | Preview

This time we're gonna be talking about black indie artists and their various projects.

I wanted to make a more focused project about their works, and some might look familiar. There's also gonna be a cool prize at the end of the video, so that's cool! 

Some cool assets being worked on. Hopefully, it'll be a fun stylized video. Might take alittle while to get everything together, but I'm really excited for this one.

Too Much Black Trauma Media?

A lot, a lot, a lot to say on this topic.

This wasn't the intended next video admittedly, but with all the polls and impromptu videos and discussion I've been driving around it, it's kind of willed me towards the idea of making a proper video about the subject.

I don't want to reveal too much just yet, but I'll certainly say I understand a lot of aspects of the perspective, despite disagreeing with the overarching narrative that there needs to be an absence of "politics" in black ...

This is probably gonna be one of the next major videos. 

It just fascinates how far the spectrum of this concept sways, and how its, in many ways, been somewhat weaponised.

And, less in the "lol SJWs are really stupid" kind of way, and much more in the absurdity of what the categorisation has gone on to do to those who imitate that political era of Hip-Hop.

Cancel Me.

This video has been something on my mind for the longest time.

I felt like this was the only time I could probably make it. If I made it at 100K, I feel like it would've been too far. But, before 50K and it feels too early to say. This feels like a sweet spot in which I can make this point and have it serve as a time capsule to where my mind was at without the potential influence of bigger numbers.

Hold influencers accountable please. Even me.

I wanted to do more with the video glitching out and have a borderline section where the video teeters off into that Jay Zish territory, but I strayed away from it cause' the video was already getting long.

I'm so used to YouTube flagging Free Huey videos that I've decided to practice patience and start properly giving you guys the content early regardless. This is the latest Free Huey episode, while YouTube fights to get my shit off the platform for no reason.

I maintain the opinion that the term "Free Huey" has been shadowbanned.

Anyway, here ya go.

VISUAL OVERHAUL.

Embracing some of the Off The Record & TWEWY influence with this Free Huey.

While the main colour scheme is still Orange, Black and White, I decided to help distinguish each section going for a different colour would be visually cool and help better make each segment stand out. 

There's also quite a few diagrams, including a scrapped bit from the Black Solidarity video that references VA-11 HALL-A. I can't wait to drop a preview (espicially since I've been making you guys...

Graduation.

There's a lot going on in my head right now. 

In pertains to my own future, the future of the channel and what I want to do. 

The major project I want to finish is the Black Capital video before I tackle anything specific. As implied in the image, there IS a GX video idea I have, that is slightly related to this feeling I've been having for a while.

I am alittle tired. But, I'll try my hardest to put something out.

Sometimes, it's honestly just more fun to make points out of silly videos like this, instead of whole video essays. Not all the time, but it can be a fun way of expressing how I feel.

Trio Talk.

There was originally supposed to be a bunch of characters here. Like, Ninamori and Canti from FLCL. Mokuba and Jaden from Yu-Gi-Oh and retroactively Botan from Yu Yu Hakusho. But, it was all scrapped due to financial difficulties I had at the time.

The final shot came out well, but I still wish I had the chairs with all the weird characters sitting around in a circle. More fun stuff soon.
