I've been busy with commissions, as well as much softer songs (because it's not often I do those). However, this is another boss battle song I've been working on. Not sure what will go where or what will be cut yet, but here are some tidbits!
I really like the chaotic vibe that comes from Idea 3-2, but fitting it into the song will be a challenge if I do so. Idea 4 is a big "maybe". Idea 5 will have a ton of extra instruments (that potentially goes for all the ideas to be honest)<...

Surprisingly...ANOTHER favorite. Finally got to make something in the major scale (I've done this many times in the past, but it is a lot more rare when comparing it to the amount of minor scale tracks I've made). On top of that, I did it with a fire alarm. Super happy with how it came out. It took hooooours of mixing, but I'm so glad everyone enjoyed it!

Unironically one of my favorite songs I've written. I was just scrolling through synths and programs and I found some steel pan stuff. My brain kinda just fired off from there and made this song. I decided that for my benefit (and as an extent, yours) I would take a week off on every month that has 5 saturdays. A break for me and less payments for you! Lots of time to work on commissions as well (which means extra music stuff for you guys, including some stuff that might no even make it to YouTube!).

I wanted to sleep. I'm still getting over my sickness. And what happens? The fire alarm goes off. But instead of the usual groaning, I figured....why not make a song out of the fire alarm noise? I recorded it immediately and sampled it. I did a whole "attempt" commentary process of me making the song. And...I actually ended up doing it. Everything (except for the drums) comes from the alarm noise. Stay tuned. It's a weird one :')

Just a small thing. Testing out some programs. The placeholder title (which I decided after exporting this) is uh..."Crab Dungeon". If I come back to it, I might want to change the synth bass to something a little more chill while replacing the drumkit with some big orchestral percussion. Less constant and more spaced out/boomy.

And here's one of my favorite originals this year! The main melody has been almost 4 years in the making, and I'm so happy to finally release it to you all. Its one of the main battle themes for my game idea (and it actually plays near the start!). It's kind of a theme for the two main characters. I'd love to talk to you all about the idea sometime.
