Well I'm finally doing it. I'm making a video where I attempt to make a video game song with only wood wood. Sounds like a garbage fire at first, right? Well..the idea ended up being pretty alright, so I made a redone version with a full orchestra and guitars. You'll get to hear both this saturday.

Final video post of the month. How To: Make a Starting Area Theme

I'll be sure to charge on the individual weekends again instead of the month (although it doesn't really matter because you guys only get charged at the end of the month. It still looks professional to do so though)! I've been in a very chill and bittersweet mood recently. I thought it was the best time to finally work on a starting area theme for one of my ideas. This ironically became another new favorite. That doesn't happen often from attempt videos, but I just got really into this one and I spent hours on it after the stream. We're slowly becoming more diverse on the channel where everything isn't *just* JRPG stuff. I'm happy you're all enjoying the minor style changes too!

This one took forever to put together, but I'm happy that I was actually able to pull it off! The idea came from the usual fidgeting I do with controllers (trying to stop, honestly :'D). This Month's Tabs (They're real oh damn)

Here they are! A patron mentioned tabs for "Breaking Point" and I realized I never made any. And then I remembered why. My last laptop has a pretty big crash and I lost a LOT of original project files, including that one. But this is a song I've wanted to tab out for a long time, so I finally did it! New Guitar Song Idea [Rough]

This is for a commission I'm working on! They wanted something in the style of "Here I Come!", so...here's another Anime Battle-type theme! I'll probably get it remastered soon (or touch it up myself). I hope you enjoy! 

New Song Idea [Still Very Rough]

Working on a field theme inspired by stuff like Zelda and Xenoblade! Percussion needs a lot of work and variation and a lot more instruments need to be added. Once this is finished, I'll probably do a rock version as well (similar to a Hyrule Warriors-style remix hopefully)!

(New Favorite) Original Song (Rough Ideas)

So as some of you may know now, I have 2 video game ideas that I use for writing music. I only recently started making songs for the second idea (there are none on youtube yet). Without giving anything away, it involves ghosts and fighting said ghosts with futuristic swords and uh...punching them. Idk

I wanted to fuse "old" and "new" into one for this song ("new" for the futuristic stuff and "old" for the ghosts themselves). I decided to fuse synthwave with a classical style to see what...

And for the last post tonight, Weeaboo (Anime) Metalcore.

I took on the challenge of fusing metalcore with traditional anime-style melodies. I'm definitely not the first to do it, but it was a fun challenge to try blind nonetheless. It was a bit difficult to get a coherent melody with all of the riffing underneath, so I opted to changing the lead guitar to another instrument to make it stick out. Piano and Strings seemed to have done the job! I hope you all enjoy this one!

Song Samples of a New "All-Time Favorite" Song I'm working on

This is pretty rough and it's missing a whole bunch of instruments, but I had this "Emotional Final Boss" idea sitting in my head for a long time. If I get this right, it might surpass both "Here I Come" and "Stardust" as my favorite. I think this is also the one song where guitars probably wouldn't make a good fit (which is fine by me).
