Chimera, probably the most physically threatening mutant alongside with Pseudogiant, from STALKER series!
These things are clearly amalgamation of human and animal DNA, combining human brain power with beastly strength... While Pseudogiants can take the most damage, Chimeras can dish it out far more than any other mutant.

Bloodsucker is arguably the mascot of STALKER series, it is easily the most recognizable of the mutants.
These things will probably never stop making me jump out of my chair and I love that. They are a testament of how well STALKER's spooky atmosphere still holds up after all these years.

Burer mutant from STALKER!
I always assumed Burers are recently mutated Bandits and Loners that probably have something to do with the C-consciousness itself morphing the mutated life to be even more dangerous to outsiders invading the Zone.
They are similar to Controllers on many levels, but instead of melting your brain they use telekinesis to bash their opponents with boxes and barrels.

I'm not even sure what this thing mutated from, probably a pile of humans judging by the face and appendages... Easily the toughest mutant alongside the nocturnal Chimeras.
Always remember the first time I entered Lab 18's lower levels and got the absolute shit scared out of me...

STALKER's Snorks appear to be mutated humans, possibly the military force stationed in Chernobyl that have degenerated into beasts after the Zone was created. They are plenty creepy and challenging to fight.
