New Vocation/First Glance - Sketches & Doodles!

I drew those first doodles of New Vocation quite a while ago, and while I liked the theme the joke wasn't doing it for me. I then later revisited the idea for what is now 'New Vocation'!

With 'First Glance' you can see I originally had a black box text at the bottom. This was because after the doodle I wasn't sure if it was clear enough that it was him stressing about himself, rather than dismissing the girl for some reason. However, once I did the final sketch I realised it wasn't needed,...

The Unusable Doodle

Hello! Here's the unusable doodle I mentioned to you guys before. I had this idea while brainstorming in a café and was all set to continue to a proper sketch until I figured I better Google it.

Sure enough, it had already been done by Cyanide & Happiness! Luckily I caught it early before any more refining!

Anyway, thought you guys might be keen to see it, even if I can't make it into a proper comic.

Here are the sketches and doodles for both the Single Player and Survival Skills comics!

You'll notice a couple differences in the sketch for Survival Skills: I realised the dialogue was unnecessary, and I made the guide book reveal's panel longer so that the timing of the twist wasn't too rushed.
