OK if you notice on the last public Maeve render a strand of hair went wayward and clipped through her nose. I usually catch those but apparently I didn't scroll down far enough.

As I said in the Friday update, there will be renders this week! Since it's summer I'm totally into these beach scenes lately.
This one of Maeve is free to the public! The rest of the renders won't be. The next render, coming tonight, will be of Maeve in a much wetter bikini.

In order to make up for the lack of update last week, I'll be posting a handful of renders over the coming week, both previews and one-offs.
It's been quite a holiday here. Went to see the extended family, then the immediate family came and stayed (the last of which will be leaving tomorrow), and I did a ton of work around the house. I also had some medical appointments that were somewhat scary, but turned out to be ok.
I honestly didn't get all that much rendering done this past week of the 4th, but I did do more than I had thought I would!
We are still on schedule, most likely for early-ish August, like the first or maybe second week, since this will be a larger update with lots of variables to check on.
Sunday officially begins my end-of-update crunch period, which is really where I get like most of the work done. I do a fair bit each day, but during crunch I tend to shut myself off from the rest of the world and get laser-focused, and do the vast majority of the work.
I hope you are all having a wonderful early summer, and I hope those of you who are in the hot zones are staying cool! As always, thank you for your support.

This is going to be another short update: things went pretty well this week! I'm shooting for around the end of July, but probably more realistically maybe a week or so later than that for the release of ep6.
I would say that it could actually be sooner if everything goes well, but when has everything gone well?

There were a couple people who weren't fond of Angel wearing white in her last render, so here she is in her more natural color. She'll still wear white from time to time, though!

Also, I got some better running poses now so it's not gonna look as bad as the earlier run.

Short and sweet update today. Things are going well! I'm still knee-deep into the primary scene of ep6 and I'm expecting to finish it within the next couple of days, thankfully.
Actually I was a little tired of doing the same scene this week so I did a little rendering on other scenes. It's good to mix things up a little.
Still, I didn't get quite as many renders finished as I had hoped, largely because of the heat wave that is affecting much of the states. I understand Europe is getting hit with high temperatures as well. I have my PC on the floor under my desk - which, I know, is just outlandish nowadays when people show off their elite rigs - and when it gets to rendering it really kicks the heat out of the machine and onto my feet. That's not at all comfortable, lol.
So I try to wake up early in the morning and get my posing done and batch render during the day, and then repeat at night. It's not as efficient as normal nice days, but I am making good progress on the update and I expect you will all get to play it before Christmas ;).
Hope you are all staying cool as we officially enter summer here in this hemisphere! Tier 2's and up can expect a preview probably tomorrow. Until then, thank you all for your kindness and your support!

Hello, Patrons!
So I hear you like Shannon. She's the reason for the late update, since she kept crashing Daz last night. For those of you who don't know, Daz is the program I use to create the renders. There's an option within Daz called dforce, which is how you see the tails in her hair conform to her body like that. Sometimes that doesn't work, heh.
Remember when I said sometimes the outfit chooses the girl? I thought a swimsuit with ruffles would definitely be a Shannon thing. Those of you at Tier 4 and higher will get another render like this except with bewbage once this is posted.
The Poll
The results of the Tuesday poll were interesting! The last time I did one of those polls was early on in development, back in 2019.
Angel got a big jump from the Oh Long Johnson update, while Maeve suffered a big loss. Interestingly, Shannon stayed about the same.
Of course 0.5v3 featured Angel and Shannon and only had one render each of Maeve and Olivia, so I can't be too surprised by the numbers. My takeaway here is that I believe you guys mostly really like the girls and your favorites can change from episode to episode, and that makes me happy.
Humor
It should come as no surprise to you guys that I like to pull your chains a bit as players. In last week's update I talked about abandoning Unleashed and making a VN version of Bloodsport.
I actually lost a patron because he thought I was abandoning the game. :)
So please understand that I will make such jokes from time to time, but I will never, ever abandon Unleashed. Even when Unleashed is finished I'll probably make Shannon and Maeve and Angel renders the rest of my life.
I apologize to those of you who may have been confused by my humor. I'll try to do a "just joking" disclaimer from now on.
Progress
Oh yeah I'm working on episode 6! And the week's rendering went well. I'm deep into one scene and I'm at that point where I'm getting anxious to finish it and move on to the next scene. That happens for every long scene - I get excited to render that scene and before I'm done I am so ready to move on.
But rendering is going well and writing is still far enough ahead to keep me going. I still need to figure out the ending for the episode, but I've got a lot of time to figure it out.

I am giving up on Unleashed and will now create Bloodsport. A young Shannon runs around Japan for some reason, stealing from houses of people who know martial arts. She finally gets caught, and instead of throwing her red-headed ass in jail, the guy decides to train her to fight!
After an impressive training montage where she does some killer splits, she joins the kumite and fights people for some reason or other. It should be awesome. I'll work on that after I finish Double-Oh Long Johnson.

This week was nice and productive. I got a ton of writing done that I needed to do before I got too far ahead in the rendering. Now I have enough material to render for at least a couple weeks. Because this update will have several different choices, the writing has to cover all the different possibilities. It's kind of like writing a choose your own adventure. Once this update is complete I think it might take an extra day or two in beta to make sure I got all the variables correct. It's very easy to write as if Choice A happened even though the player chose Choice B.

I also wanted to talk to all of you about the Public Release of Unleashed. Because of Patreon's rules covering NSFW content, I cannot release Unleashed in a public post. Instead, what I will do is link to the release maybe a week or two afterwards on my Discord and my Twitter account.
Please note: Unleashed is totally free. At some point I will likely upload it to Steam, but that probably won't happen for quite some time - maybe not until it is totally finished. If you are paying any website for access to Unleashed other than here on my Patreon, you are being scammed.
It seems also that there are issues with the sites that host a web-version of visual novels. With the recent Chrome updates, it looks like people are getting errors unless they use Firefox. I really recommend you all find a download of Unleashed and install it and play it on your desktop for the best experience.

It seems I've been doing a lot of Maeve renders lately, but that's because these renders are often a way to try out new clothing assets. I look through what's new and ask whether each outfit would fit a particular girl. It just turns out that more outfits fit Maeve than the other girls lately. Though, to be fair, Maeve is a bit more variable than the other girls:
Angel is goth/punk/alternative.
Olivia is business suits or lingerie.
Shannon doesn't typically wear dresses.

Sorry for the late update. This was a holiday weekend and I spent a bunch of time with the whole family. I also went to see Top Gun, which was great! I think I'm going to steal an idea from that movie later on. ;)
As you are aware, Unleashed is in part a parody of established Visual Novel tropes. Episode 6 will feature the long-awaited, inevitable dressing room scene! You see, Angel somehow came into a bit of extra cash last night so she suggested that the crew go shopping. And of course they insist that the Main Character tag along.
Will you peek or will you not peek?! I tell you what, if you don't peek I'm going to be so disappointed in you as a pervert.
The real question is what will happen when you do!
This is somewhat of a preview to show you the setup, but the actual dressing room area is going to look a little different. As with just about every area, I tend to add a personal touch to things, so you can expect some differences in the game.
I'm going to work hard all June and should be able to give you a very good estimate of time to completion within a few weeks. It will not be 6 months away :P.

Hope you all had a great week. Remember how I said I'd either get a lot of work done or I'd sit around eating a tub of peanut butter? As far as Ep6 went, I was more on the tub of peanut butter side of things than I had hoped.
That's not to say I didn't get anything done. I have started work on what I believe will be the biggest scene of the update. This is the middle of the update, and it will feature a pretty long interaction with Maeve, Shannon, and Angel. As I've been saying, you will have a little more control of the situation with choices, but you should still expect to be in a buzzsaw of personalities, conflict, flirting, and likely some or all of the girls screwing with your head.
For Olivia fans, you will see her in the morning and then she has to rush in to work. Real Estate is a tough business after all. Ever notice that agents all tend to be hot chicks? That's what Olivia is competing against. She is perfectly capable of holding her own, however. You'll likely see her in the evening when you arrive back home - though the end of the day is still largely up in the air and can change at any minute.
As it is right now, you are going to have a pretty full day - if that's your choice. You might also be able to choose to just sleep the whole day in which case it'll be a pretty damn short update.
I'm looking forward to knocking out the heart of the update and looking forward. We're not too far away from the update that will change everything!

So update on the progress - it's going as I've planned so far, for the most part. We're still early in and there's a ton of work to do yet. I'm already starting to add scenes that weren't in the original plan, which is what happens in every update.
What I'm really interested in talking about, though, are the polls. It's been a lot of fun seeing the results!
I was honestly surprised that you guys liked Olivia's original hair much more than the new hair. I do recognize that the new hair has a bit of an issue with the part, which I think played a big role in it. I honestly liked the new hair, and I still might use it for a special occasion, but the default hair will remain her default hair!
Before that I asked you guys if you were surprised by what Shannon did or if you had figured it out, and, again to my surprise, 68% of you answered that you had not figured it out. I never know how things are truly going to work out - remember the episode 2 scene where Shannon and Angel were in the background talking about the size of the Main Character? I had no idea if that was going to play well or not, and I was really happy to discover that it was some people's favorite scene, even now.
Prior to that poll I asked you guys if you had figured out Oh Long Johnson's identity, and yet again I was surprised that 75% of you had not. Of course, many of you had forgotten who that character even was, but still... I'm glad I'm still able to surprise you guys!
This coming week could be pretty good. I might have the house all to myself all week, so I might actually get some major work done. Or I might buy a tub of peanut butter and eat it with a spoon while watching Netflix in my underwear. Either way, it's going to be a good week!

Ok, as an apology for being late with the update I'm including the first preview of episode 6 for all of you.
It should come as no surprise that you wake up on Saturday morning with... an issue. You will be able to choose whether to use the ol' pillow trick or let it stand loud and proud. As I've said, there will be more choices in Ep6 than you've seen in the past. And, of course, there will be consequences to those choices!
But I do apologize for being late with the update. I'm having a bit of a hectic time with RL work, but that should all be settled here very soon.
I had a good week of rendering. I'm still working on the ending to the update. I've yet to decide exactly how it ends. I have several options and it's just a matter of deciding which one I want to go with. Once that's done, the writing will be as complete as it gets - until I add several scenes out of the blue, of course.
I hope you are all having a wonderful spring! I am getting outside and exercising more and enjoying life, except for the inevitable soreness that comes with it! No pain, no gain, in life and in VNs!
