Sneak Peak: Empty Soul Girl Makeover

Hey y'all! We finished a super fun makeover on the 'Empty Soul Girl on a Swing' prop from Spirit Halloween. In the video we do a full unboxing and set up and as expected she's a tad plain out of the box, so we gave her some new clothes from Goodwill, fixed her pose on the swing, added some pool noodles to give her body some form, added a bit of paint, just a bunch of small things that added up to make a huge difference.

Halloween Minecraft Spider: Cutlist & Dimensions

Hey y'all! Attached below is a PDF file with the cut list and dimensions to build your own giant real life Minecraft spider.

It's made from about 1.5 sheets of 1" pink foam and actually goes together fairly easily! If you and/or your kids are big Minecraft fans, this is a really fun project.

Halloween Giant Spider Dimensions

Attached below is a printable PDF file with the dimensions for building our giant spider! Each leg has three segments that are all a slightly different size and when we built our spider we researched different types and sizes of spiders so we could get the proportions exactly how we wanted them.

You can scale it bigger or smaller to fit your needs, but getting the different leg proportions right will definitely help your giant spider look extra spooky and awesome.

Tombstone Templates? Need Your Feedback!

Mornin' all! The other day someone asked if we had templates for the outer shapes of the different tombstones we use. This isn't something we've put online before but we realized it'd be pretty useful!

What we don't know...is the best format. Since they're on the larger side, does it make sense to provide printable PDFs that are sized for printing out in "poster size"? (i.e. a full size tombstone might print on to 12 different pages and needs to be assembled together).

Magic Wine Bottle! 🍷 DIY Halloween Decoration Tutorial

Hey y'all! This morning marks the official start of our '22 Halloween season and we've released our first Halloween project video! It's a magical floating wine bottle that pours a never-ending supply of delicious red wine.

You can make this at home with basic tools and materials and it looks AMAZING.

Sneak Peek: 'Eye' see you!

A couple of days ago, the new Hocus Pocus 2 trailer came out and we are beyond excited to see it! 👻 One of the classic props from the original film is their spell book with the creepy eye that looks around.

We thought it'd be fun to make our own version of a spell book with a life-like animated eye that you can easily make at home!

Visiting Transworld’s Midwest Haunter Convention!

Hey y’all! We’re in Chicago this weekend visiting the Midwest Haunter’s Convention…and there is SO MUCH GREAT STUFF HERE! We came to meet new people, see new Halloween props and costumes, and to be inspired to try some new ideas for the channel. Sneak Peak: Animatronic Witch Makeover

Hey y’all! This week we wrapped up a total makeover on one of Home Depot’s animatronic props! We found this 2018 witch used on FB marketplace and took her apart and gave her a complete aesthetic overhaul!

Out of the box the animatronics are great, she rocks back and forth and cackles madly, but she LOOKS pretty bland so it was fun to make her look like a proper scary witch. There’s a video on Discord in the Supporters channel if you want to see it moving!

Need Your Input: Which Custom Wine Label? 🍷

Our next project has a custom wine bottle in it so we made some labels, but we can't decide to go with the lighter or darker version... please help us pick! The lighter version is a sort of parchment paper color, and the darker is a black background.

Cursed Pirate Treasure Chest - 3D Print Files

As described in the video, we custom modeled several parts for the treasure chest to match the concept art so that we could 3D print them. Attached below are the exact files we used so that you can print them yourself and build something similar.

These are "print-in-place" hinges so that means they print as a single part but still function as a hinge. The latch gets glued into the front hinge with the two small tabs.

Wicked Ghost Mirror VFX Videos for Patrons!

In case you missed it, in our latest video we hired professional VFX artists on Fiverr to make high quality visual effects for our haunted mirror! They came out incredibly cool and they're great for Halloween projections (or a crazy mirror effect like we did!).

Halloween Patron Hangout - Feedback Needed!

Glowing Chicken Wire Ghost 👻

It’s done! Honestly this was so much easier than we thought and it came out incredible. Our neighbors have said this is our best decoration yet and that’s saying a lot all things considered. 😄

Hope you guys had a great weekend! Today we’re working on a brand new project: a chicken wire ghost! Hard to see on camera but there’s definitely a ghost in there! 😄😄

We got our first taste of chicken wire shaping on the spider last week and had a hard time with it 😅 so this time we’re using a mannequin as a body form. So far it’s been working really nicely!

Our ghosts name is Lily and she’s going to float eerily above our cemetery in our yard.
