Chapter 19 Release plans update.

I am going to release Ch. 19 in two parts for a few reasons.

1) I want you guys to have something before I take my break.

2) The first day is big enough.

3) There is a natural stopping point in the narrative at the end of the first day. So I won't just be cutting you off in the middle of nowhere, like I've seen some games do in the past.

Barb has a new doo!

I'll confess a secret to you guys that I wouldn't have, until I found this. I never liked the hair asset I used for Barb, but I couldn't find one I liked better until now!

I had decided I wasn't going to do it anyway. The poll was pretty much to see how many people would object.

I'm really not feeling doing the relapse path ending, for a few reasons which I'll state below.

1) Only a very small fraction of you will play it, so it's time wasted on content I could be doing for the main sober path.

2) I did some outlining for it, and It's going to take me to a dark place making it, and I'm not looking forward to visiting that place.

3) This game is supposed to be about hope, so why do we really need it? If you wanna see what it will be ...

After looking through the way I have the scene written at the moment, I've decided to keep it as is and not show him actually having sex.

I tried re-writing it in a way to include that and it just came off as not as good as how I've got it originally set up for story purposes. So, thank you to everyone who participated in poll, because it at least made me try it both ways. Cheers!

I hope everyone enjoyed Chapter 18. I took a little time off after general release. But, I'm back at it on Ch. 19 now. I'll probably do the first dev update for Ch. 19 on the 25th instead of the 18th though. My aunt died suddenly in her sleep and she was my Dad's last living sibling. So, he's taking it pretty hard, we all are. As you've read in previous posts we were close to her and her family.

So, while I'm back at it I'm sort of pacing myself right now and trying to be there for Dad...
