MC Relapse variable and ending, explained.

Ok guys, I've been doing a lot of thinking about this, and I was going to have the MC (if you have enough relapses points) relapse, and kind of split off the paths for a day during one of the later updates.

The problem with this though, is I don't think I could realistically bring him back around to where I'd want him to be, in enough time to do the things he's going to be doing towards the end of the game (sponsoring people, telling his story, etc...).

Dev Update #52 (Progress)

Quick Announcement, we're moving to Renpy 8.0.3...

That's right, Ch. 15 of One Day at a Time will be released on Renpy SDK 8.0.3. I've been using a 4 year old version of the engine for too long now, and 8.0.3 brings a much smoother gameplay process for you, and more advance coding options for me.

How does this affect you other than what I said about gameplay? It shouldn't at all, we've even written a migration script that will transfer Android saves to the new 8.0.3 default location.

Dev Update #51 (Progress)

Trying Something New with Renders in this Update!

Ok, I'll make this as brief as possible. The render count in this update will likely be less, and that's a good thing. Here's why. I went back and analyzed a few of the 1 character scenes I had in the last update and some of them where hitting over 120 renders. That's just crazy town!

What I figured out, is in a long conversation I'll reuse the same expression on a character 3 or sometimes 4 times. So, what I'm doing is trying to cap single character scenes to around 60-70 renders max. ...

One Day at a Time Endings (We're not close yet, but I just want to explain some things)

Dev Update #50 (Release Date)

Barb is happy to announce One Day at a Time Ch. 14 will release on 03/14/23 or 14/03/23 or March 14 2023!

I am nearing the end of the development process and getting ready to go into polishing. Since this is going to be a March release anyway, I'm going to take my time to make sure everything is exactly as I want it to be.

This will be the last dev update before release!
