Eeveelutions Switch Dock

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!

February Preview

February is almost here and that means it's time to let you know what you can expect for the next month! 

As you can see from the first picture you can expect another Switch dock and I think it's my favourite so far. The original Eeveelutions are hanging out and having a good time while making your Switch look even better. You can expect this ready and waiting for you on February 2 so stick around to grab it as soon as you can.

January has just about come to a close and that means that it is time for another poll to pick what will be modelled in February. I tried to pick a variety from a few generations and all models that I should be able to do support free for an easy printing experience. As always, it is the top 4 that will go on to get modelled so pick wisely!

It's finally Friday and why not start the weekend off with a new model to print? You  now have the last poll pick for this month available to you and I hope I did the fan favourite, Charizard, justice with this one!

Obviously you will need supports under the wings but I have tried to make those contact points as easy to print and support as I can. You should be fairly good elsewhere without supports but as always, do what you feel works for you.

Good morning everyone, I hope your Monday is treating you well. I have just uploaded the third poll pick for this month, Jigglypuff, on to the website and Dropbox. You should be good to run this without supports if your machine can handle a decent overhang but do what you feel works for you.

Articulating Nidoking

Good morning everyone, I hope you're having a good start to your Saturday and have an empty printer ready and waiting for another awesome print! I think this is one of my new favourites and love how this articulating Nidoking turned out. 

Each limb articulates separate from the other and aside from the arms, is support free. You do have a pre-supported version again like Mewtwo but also have the unsupported version if that suites you better. I wouldn't scale this one down any small...

Nintendo Switch Dock - Snorlax

Well not long after the last dock was released I got this design stuck in my head and I needed to get it out before I lost it! And as you can see from the picture you now have a new dock waiting for you and it's none other than Snorlax. True to the Snorlax size, this print is larger than the last one with it's belly nearly reaching the top of the actual dock!

Articulating Mewtwo

Hey Everyone!

I hope you're having a good day so far. I have just added an articulating Mewtwo to the Dropbox and website so if you like the wiggly ones, then this is one for you!

There is a pre-supported and unsupported version depending how you want to print it but eh version that I tested is the pre-supported one. I would go with a 0.2mm layer height or lower and 3 walls so the joints are nice and strong.

Nintendo Switch Dock - v2

Good morning everyone,

I have just uploaded an updated version of the Switch dock to the Dropbox and website. The updates include a wider opening for the side cables on both sides and a smoother connection at the centre that should allow you to pull them apart easier if needed.

Nintendo Switch Dock - Gastly Evolution

Hey Everyone!

I have something new for you tonight/today and if you have a Nintendo Switch, it's the perfect companion! 

Easy to print in two pieces that snap together in the centre without any supports so you shouldn't have any issues with this one. There is also an OLED version included but that is currently being tested by a few of your fellow members so if there are any issues I will update those files.

Lapras Skull

I have another model ready for you and even though Halloween is well over I know there were people looking for more of the skulls so you have Lapras waiting to be printed. You have the version with solid eye sockets and the one without, both though will need supports sporadically inside and in the eye sockets if you go with the hollow version.

Wall Mounted Magikarp

So not as later as I expected for when to get this one out to you guys! Nonetheless you have a Wall Mounted Magikarp waiting for you as well this morning. 

I tried to curve Magikarp as much as made sense to try and cut back on the supports needed but you will need some for sure. I'll let you guys make the final decision but I would put them under the top and bottom yellow fins as well as the start of the tail for sure.

Articulating Octillery

Good morning everyone! I have another design ready for you and in the Dropbox and website. The Articulating Octillery is another easy, no support print so you can just hit slice and have fun.

After some helpful test prints from a few patron members we have figured out that 70% is about as small as you want to go with this one but feel free to go smaller if you want to test those printers.

Depending how the day goes I may have another file for you later today as well

Articulating Squirtle

Uploaded and ready for you is an easy to print Articulating Squirtle! No supports needed so just slice away and get it printing.

January Models

Good Morning Everyone

I hope you all had a great New Years and have great things to look forward to in 2023! You have spoken and we have some great picks coming out this month! In no particular order we have:

Like I mentioned in the previous post, the articulating models will be coming back and I have 2 new ones nearly ready, just some adjustments after the test prints. I'm thinking I will be throwing up another poll later today ...

January Poll and News

Just like that another month has come and gone and also a full year of this Patreon! Pretty mind blowing how fast the time has gone and how far this whole thing has grown. It would be an understatement to say how grateful I am for the continued support and the friendships I have made over the last year.

Obviously we have had a big update with the website that was just launched (www.maple3dprinting.com) which I have decided will be the sole way of retrieving your files come February 2023...

Hairy Piloswine

Happy Friday everyone!

I have just uploaded the newest file and my first attempt at something hairy! As you might be able to tell from the photos, it is Piloswine but I have done the model with some "lifelike" hair. 

The hair gets printed out horizontally to the shell around the model and once you remove the shell with a sharp blade (just slide it along the inside of the shell) you should have what looks like a bit of a toilet brush! You can see what it should look like in pi...

Wall Mounted Totem, Blastoise, and Venusaur

Hey everyone!

I'm excited to announce the release of the newest 3D printing files - a wall mounted totem featuring Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur as well as the stand alone Blastoise and Venusaur!

One of the best things about these designs are that they don't require any supports! That means less time spent on post-processing and a cleaner final print. And for those who have multiple printers or want to print the pieces separately, I've included a split version as well.

Ornamental and Basic versions of Kyogre are out in the Dropbox now! This should be a pretty simple print with supports only needed under the front points. I have been busy behind the scenes working on the new website and that will hopefully be out before the new year. Wall Mounted Starters!

Good morning everyone, I hope you're having a good start to your weekend. I have just uploaded another file to the Dropbox and as you can see from the picture, it is a Totem pole sort of print that will look great on your wall. 

I have a handful of variations depending on what you want to do with it including a split version so you can make it as big as possible. You shouldn't need supports so just slice it and have fun!

Wall Mounted Charizard Head

Finished up another model this afternoon, the wall mounted Charizard head. There are a few versions depending what you want to do with the model. There is a version with a flat back, one with screw holes, and the version that fits on to the plaque that you can see in the picture. There is also a blank plaque if you wanted to use it for something else as well.

Christmas Bulbasaur

Another Christmas model is in the Dropbox now. Bulbasaur is ready to be hung on your tree or sit on your shelf!

You will need supports on this one, under the hat and to support the Staryu at the top of the tree. Other than that, you should be good to go!

Christmas Fuecoco
