Bonus: Spinosaurus, Ankylosaurus and Fishy Hanger/Keychains

Hi Folks!

I did alot of test printing to feel out the sizes. For these The 100% provided is best as a bag hanger (and similar in size to the previous dino keychain releases), but I recommend 80% for a keychain.

*Helpful hint for printing with AMS... I set the variable layer height at .16 for most of the print then swit...

Flexi Factory Racing Tortoise

Ok, I couldn't help myself... I really wanted to Turbo my Tortoise 😊.

This model has several fun features that make it great for customizing. The head pops-on and swivels for extra character :) The body, shell, and spoiler snap together, and the optional flames push in with a fairly snug fit.

I designed it this way so you can print all the parts in different colors. I personally like the shell shiny and the body matte or basic PLA.

Exclusive: Flexi Factory Beaver

Wow, this character was quite the challenge...in a good way 😉 My maker space is littered with beaver body parts after changing directions twice before landing on this happy-go-lucky Chap.

The little arms and head are pop-on which allows for various poses :) And I while I have never seen beavers in the wild stand on each other's heads, we had a ton of fun stacking them high.

Bonus: Flexi Factory Tattooed Starfish

For this month's bonus, I added the starfish to the Tattooed collection. This character is one of my earlier models that has the funniest personality. It's super flexi, print-in-place, and offers a few hilarious poses. I hope it makes you smile too!

Flexi Factory Dinosaur Stand Staining and Painting HOW-TO

HOW-TO video #2 shows how to stain and paint to highlight the Dinosaur Stand.

- Craft/Model paint and detail brushes, used with a wet palette work perfectly for these.
- I also typically use gel stain as it sets in darker, but typical oil based spreads quicker.
- I always set with a clear polyurethane spray. Matte is my preference for the skeleton dinos, but other variations like glossy look great on the dragons and water animals :)

Flexi Factory Skeleton Raptor

1) More stable! He is now less likely to fall over while posing him. (I decided to make this change as I was trying to pose him for photos, and he kept falling over😄) He will still fall if you spin his head all the way around...so don't do that, haha.

2) Slightly improved printability. A handful of patrons had some issues with failures while printing the neck. I'm not sure how much these changes will help since I have been fortunate not to get a single failu...

Exclusive: Flexi Factory Nutcracker Toy Soldier

My wife has been begging me to make a Nutcracker for the past couple years, but I had to work on some fun new mechanisms for this one, to really make it special. I wanted to keep it Flexible, and also give it the ability to stand and make his arms posable. The way this prints, it gives the model a 360 look, but without the use of supports, like ALL of my designs.

The Nutcracker Toy Soldier has plug in features, that can be printed in a multitude of colors to easily customize...

Early Release: Flexi Factory Chicken

Thank you everyone for your patience while I finished up testing. Especially with pop-in features, I like to make sure everything fits correctly :)
