Restitched: From The Vault | Early Checkpoint Ideas

Early in development (2020), we were exploring visual ideas for different checkpoints. Is it a flag that raises when activated? A glowing, levitating ball of yarn? A box that opens with Stuffy popping out?

Restitched: Level Editor Testing

Hi, Stuffies! 

Tag along with us as we test some of our level editing features in this early development footage. We'll be arranging a small scene using various features, like placement, tools, physics, and player movement.

You'll notice things are still a little rough around the edges, as this is very much a work-in-progress build with missing polish and sound effects, and some visual bugs!

Community Poll: Candle or Candle Light?

Candles and other Props that produce light in Restitched always give us a dilemma. Do we keep it simple and versatile, letting you assemble the flame and light separately? Or do we merge them so all you need to do is place the candle and change its light settings - albeit at the expense of being unable to remove the flame?

Restitched Screenshot | Deep Taiga Testing

We've been playing around with the new 3D physics changes, including more buildable depth. As a result, new scenes are emerging from our developers! We're still ironing out some level editing bugs and tweaking Stuffy's gameplay to properly take advantage of the new playable space. 

While it's not been fully decorated, we still find the lighting, assets, and depth quite beautiful!
