You'll see a variant of the refund scam and one victim that I managed to stop, but it was too late for someone else. I've passed as many details as I can to the victim and the Faridabad police.

If you've not heard 'Lenny' before, this is an 8 minute recording of a scammer talking to a bot.
"Lenny," a senior with a strong Australian accent, loves to talk and talk and talk to telemarketers and tech support scammers, even when they become furious and abusive.

A bit of extra content for my Silver+ Patons:
This is the reality of being an agent in a scam call center. You will spend most of your day getting abuse, mis-dials, responding robots and generally angry people.
This is a fairly unedited view of just what that experience is like. By watching this and other similar groups, I can see that there will be 2-3,000 automated calls sent before they will be one victim to log into their bank whilst the scammer is connected remotely....

I persuaded a scammer to reveal the tactics he uses in his scams by showing him his own photograph when he connected to my computer.
His photos also had a geo-location tag and they were taken from his own apartment in Ghaziabad (east of Delhi). This was enough to convince him to make a video with him breaking down the various aspects of his own scam.
I hope this proves interesting.

This will have to remain a Patron only video for the time being because the woman doing the scamming is under investigation by the police in the UK.
The video shows just how close one particular victim came to losing £14,000 (around $18,000). It was a bark of a dog which fouled the scam.
I'll be making a few more videos about this woman shortly.... Including seeing her run a scam whilst her webcam was on.

This group of scammers send fake Paypal invoices and try to convince their (usually elderly) victims to login to their online bank whist they have remote access. And it usually ends badly for the victim.
This time around however, I managed to find out who they were and I slowly dismantled their scam.

Early access Patron version!
This group of scammers have set up 10 fake websites and have managed to get these websites to list high up on Google's search engine thanks to some black-hat SEO operations.
But unusually, they also have online chat enabled on these websites. That gave me an idea to flood them with junk chats and I was able to record their reactions... I think it has pretty hilarious results.

Some extra content for my $5+ Patrons...
It's rare to be able to see and hear a scam happening, so I've compressed a scam which took over an hour to complete into around 20 minutes. The footage is from the Faremart/Adroit Technologies CCTV and hasn't been seen before.
You'll see "Mary" (Sanjoli Jalan) and "Mike" (Amit Rana) scamming a 74yo Australian pensioner of $550. Sadly, I couldn't prevent the scam. I put this together from recordings of their video and audio.

Following the release of my video and the Panorama TV documentary, the call centre owner, Amit Chauhan, has been arrested and will appear in court tomorrow (5th March 2020).
The police have plenty of evidence, so let's hope, for the sake of the thousands of people who he conned, that he goes to jail for a long time.

Folks, just to let you know, I've been working with journalists in the UK to try to expose one of the largest scam calling operations I've yet seen.

I get lots of comments asking me why all tech support scammers are from India. They are not all from India and this video will show scammers in two other countries who run identical scams. Admittedly 95% of tech scams will originate in India, but never assume they're all there.
