Another one which may be difficult to watch, but I upload these in the hope that you can spread the word and warn anyone who may be vulnerable to this sort of scam what to watch out for.

I'll be posting a shortened version of this to YouTube, but this version contains much more of the grilling and excuses from this scamming organisation, Haloteck.net.
Thank you all for sponsoring me - you make this possible.
P.S. Our scammer, Nimmi, likes to doodle...even her own name. Very artistic... don't you think?

A Patreon-exclusive video...
Not all scams work and I thought I'd post this video to show the techniques which scammers use to persuade their potential victim to part with cash. This lot target only people who are over 50 and employ several techniques to convince their mark that they really have to pay to their locked computer back.
I have only got access to the scammer's microphone, so I've subtitled the victim's responses (but you may just be able to make him out).
I hope you fin...

A quick update … I've been busy tracking down scammers who poison search engine results so that their phone number appears top of Google's search results. One such company appears if you type "Norton Support Number UK" into Google.
I managed to get remote access to them (again) with some revealing results. I've uploaded a video so that Norton can hopefully take legal action against them. I'll be publishing this very soon, but I need to allow them to take the necessary action first.

Ok. This hasn't really much to do with scams, but I did find this very impressive. Someone commented in my latest video that they could work out the sound from my graph even though I had muted the sound.
I challenged the author to do this and I'm mighty impressed with the result. It's not quite the right surname, but very close.
Well done Rebane… I'll be blurring the graphs next time!

Enjoy.

This is an unlisted video. I've sent the link to this video to over 1,500 people who have been scammed by a company called 'Supremo Innovations'. I was able to acquire their entire customer database and I've sent a message to all their customers encouraging them to claim a refund because they've been scammed.
You might find this video a little boring because it's aimed at people who are not familiar with tech support scams, but I can assure you that the follow-up video, exposing exactly how Su...

Let's say I have information on a scammer company in New Delhi. Say I have their managing director's names, their full employee list and salaries/bonuses for the last 6 months. I have recordings of their scams in action. I have lists of the names of people they scammed and their phone numbers. I even have the home addresses of some of the scammers. I have the exact location of their call centre.
I'll publish this on YouTube in due course but from experience I'll have to blur even the scammers p...

Hello to all my patrons. Thank you once again for sponsoring me in my quest to raise awareness of scams.
As recently as yesterday, I observed a couple of 'refund' scams are two victims could have been out nearly $7,000 as a result. This sort of scam is surprisingly lucrative, so I though I'd do the next video on how these work.
Also, I'm working on another plan to expose more scammers courtesy of one of my sponsors (you know who you are). It's been very interesting working with this pers...

Patron early access video. Scary one this.
So you've been offered a refund. All you need to do is allow someone to access your PC. But you don't log into your bank account, so you're ok. Right?

I've had one or two people mention that they'd rather not have their names shown as Patrons on my end-credits, so instead I'll always limit this to just my Platinum Patrons (Thank you again Paul and Barnoni).
However, if you would like any kind of link shown, message me and I'll see what I can do - especially if it's relevant to scam prevention or detection.

So what was the file the scammer downloaded? Find out here.
This 2nd part has a rather different tone to the first part because you can see how callous these scammers really are.

Hello again folks.
I have an interesting variant on a tech scam; one where the scammers are purely after bank login details.
They also have new tactics; they're using a VPN with TeamViewer to overcome the warning when the connection comes from Indian. I suppose they've had a alter their tactics.
It all starts with an automated message to my home phone line...

So I've been playing with php and I've cloned the Barclays Bank website. Its only accessible from within my Local Area Network. I was going to just it as part of a sting to capture scammers bank details... I'll create a fake 'Transfer' form and an appropriately large bank balance. The form will do nothing other than log the scammers bank details.
I'm sure I can make this work, but I'd like your view on this...

I recorded this audio yesterday from a call centre located in Kolkata, India. The automated message claimed that my Internet (Broadband) service would be cut off and that they callers were from BT (a large ISP in the UK).
Of course it's a prelude to the usual tech support scam. There will be a video on the aftermath of this shortly.

Good news! I heard this morning from the CEO of CreditVouchers.com, Justin Martin, that they have suspended the services of one of their scamming customers, Ravden Technologies Pvt Ltd and have initiated a full investigation into their practices. The upshot should be that they will refund anyone who has fallen victim to Ravden. It's as a result of my latest video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJEdVLTFhcg.
