Here’s a sneaky sneaky of a cover I’ve been working on. Magical girl series will always be close to my heart. Growing up I watched the hell out of Sailor Moon. I couldn’t tell you a thing that happened on that show now - this memory is crap. But I know starting from the 3rd grade, the scouts were all I wanted to draw. Whenever my iPad gets too warm or needs to recharge as I work on a cover, I try to use the downtime to do something analog. This week I worked on this little sketch of Black Widow and kinda just winged it. No plan, no color story decided - just went for it. Sometimes it's nice to let your instincts guide you. I have no clue why I wanted to make a fitness Magik, but here we are. I'm still working on this one, been I'm trying to keep it flatter, and looser and sketchier than my other stuff.
Saw New Mutants at a drive-in when it came out and while it's a tepid sort of cinema, I thought Anya Taylor-Joy was really magnificent as Magik. Anya is terrific in everything she does and while I doubt they will, if they decide to use her in the MCU I think she'd really tear it up.

Thought I'd throw this up here and also say sorry there hasn't been a video tutorial in a minute. In the most first world problem ever, I recently upgraded to an iPhone 12 and the video on that defaults to HDR. Most programs out there now aren't HDR compatible and so every video, when I try to edit it, is completely blown out. I now how to fix this now and will try and record something new asap....love youuuuu...

Re-re-remix. Remixed an old Gundam Wing piece into a slightly altered new take for wallpapers for y'all! Again, I do these in two different crops so try them out and see which works for your phone. Did a red and a blue version and a long and a short version so go crazy! Any other pieces you'd like to see remixed into something new for your wallpapers? Looks like they're doing a one-off for Faith in the Buffyverse over at BOOM! studios. They asked me to do a cover way back when I was doing my character variants for the main series.
