I went to the hospital again the other day for X-rays. I was told that it will take some more time for the bone in my finger to heal, but that there are no further issues with it. Most of the pain I feel in my finger comes from the damaged ligament. I planned to go ahead and resume working regardless of what the doctor said, but since a lot of you have voiced concern over my injury as well I will refrain from using my finger for the rest of the year and let it heal. My finger status

Just like I did last week, I went in again yesterday to the hospital to get an x-ray on my finger. According to the results, nothing has improved yet (though the internal bleeding has stopped). The doctor said the lingering pain is caused by the ligament not the breakage.

He said, “Now your finger’s ligament is recovering. If you push yourself and try to use it now, you’ll only slow your recovery. If you can, rest it for one more week. Then we’ll be able to tell on your next vis...

I was told by a doctor. The broken bone of your ring finger is peeling off. Never use your fingers. If you really want to work, take care of your fingers until next week. If you continue to do so, the aftereffects will remain.

I still tried to work, but my wife opposed and stopped me. I decided to listen to the doctor and my wife.

I'm going to take a ring finger X-ray next Wednesday. If there is no problem, I will try again.
