Hi everyone! I added v2 of the Bella gown, this time with shiny, satin-like textures. Finally it looks like I wanted it to look from the start! Click HERE to jump to the og post if you want to download it. Enjoy! :)

Hello everyone!
It's hard to believe, but I've just reached another milestone today: over 3000 followers on Tumblr! 3006 as of now, to be precise. Thank you everyone so much!
I could see this day approaching already for some time and thought it'd be nice to make something special to celebrate it. And what could be a better gift than the one thing numerous people have asked me for - have been asking me for for months? So - here it is! It took lots of time and effort, not gonna lie, but I can finally proudly present to you my first late Victorian evening gown.
Comes in 2 versions, both in 22 swatches. V2 has a more silky/satin texture and I consider it a big improvement - but I left the og version as well, in case someone prefers the less shiny option:

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, some silky shine
- tagged as everyday, formal and party
- found under long dress subcategory
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours available - you don't need it for the mesh to work. If you want to recolour v2, replace the 3D layer with the satin file and change shading to 'overlay'.
I did my best to make it work with all body types and in all situations, and I think I succeeded in 99%. There is that remaining 1% of clipping possibility though. I'm sorry for it, but I did what I could.
Hope you and your sims will like it, enjoy!
And in case you wonder: yes, of course I have other ball gowns planned, it's just that they take FREAKING lots of time!

Hi everyone!
As you might have noticed, in the last patch EA made lots of lights off the grid compatible. Lots... But not all. They forgot this beautiful tree with hanging lanterns, which most definitely shouldn't need electricity to work, but still does. Well, by some miracle I managed to fix that. Now it should work properly even on off the grid lots. Good for all our hippie sims!
It's an override, i.e. a default replacement of the original tree. I didn't change anything else except for adding the OTG functionality.
NOT Base Game compatible. Requires Movie Hangout SP.
Please keep in mind that this is my first fully successful modding attempt ever, so it might be that I overlooked something. It works perfectly fine in my game and I'm 99% sure I didn't mess anything up, but it's still a very new territory to me. In case you experience any problems, please let me know what happened!
(And if you use it and it works as intended, please let me know as well, I'll be relieved :) ).
I know it's a very non-typical piece for me, but I needed to do some testing after the last patch and automatically went down my favourite Hippie Living© route - and I just can't have a proper hippie lot without this tree. No worries, I'm not switching to non-historical stuff for good. In fact, I already have another 1890s piece half-done ;).
Hope you'll find it useful, enjoy!

Hi everyone!
Here comes another simple thing: a conversion of the Cuiavian folk outfit for girls. Nothing big, but it's my first female adult to child conversion, so it's still a new milestone! Converting stuff for girls is a bit trickier than for boys, because you have to readjust the chest area. Once again, big thank you to Ingeli for her shrinking tutorial - wow, I didn't even know that ShrinkWrap modifier is a thing. So useful!
Comes in two versions: festive, with apron and collar, and 'humblified', without. They are separate, non-conflicting files (a.k.a. you can download both). Both come in 17 swatches - same as their adult counterparts (can be seen here and here).
- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, no shine
- festive version tagged as casual, formal, party and hot weather
- humblified version tagged only as casual and hot weather
- found under long dress subcategory
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours available HERE (you’ll have to hide/delete some layers to get the 'humblified' version)
Hope you'll like it, enjoy!

Hello everyone!
Here comes another variation of the folk dress which I published last week: very similar, but without the apron and the collar. Intended more for casual, everyday use than for showing off at a party. You wouldn't like to get that meticulously embroidered apron dirty with soil, would you?
Comes in the same 17 swatches (ok, might not be exactly the same, but I tried to match the colours as closely as possible):

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, no shine
- tagged as casual and hot weather
- found under long dress subcategory
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours available HERE - you'll just have to hide/delete some layers
Hope it'll add some diversity to your villagers' wardrobes, enjoy!
I know half of you are waiting for ball gowns, but quick and simple edits (i.e. which I can finish in one afternoon/evening) are the only things I can work on right now - and unfortunately, a ball gown would be neither quick nor simple. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, but for the time being I'm still busy as heck, so you'll have to bear with this kind of unimpressive nonsense a bit longer. Sorry! On the positive side, it's a perfect opportunity to finally make all those simple things which have been on my mind already for some time, but felt too simple to 'waste' my time on them.

Vintage Winterwear Collection pt. 12
Hi everyone!
Welcome to another episode of 'I have no time for proper meshing, so I'm just making quick stuff instead'.
Here comes another coat for your sim boys - this time a perfectly simple and capeless one. If you have a feeling that you've already seen something similar somewhere, then you're totally right: it's basically my posh AM ulster converted for children, with just some very small adjustments. Many thanks to Ingeli for her shrinking tutorial! Knowing the proper dimensions from the start saved me lots of trial and error :).
Comes in 14 swatches, just like the adult version:

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, no shine
- tagged as casual and cold weather
- found under outerwear subcategory
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- PDN not included, because it doesn't exist ;) - I edited all of the ulster swatches separately (i.e. cut off some material at the bottom)
Hope your simboys will like it, enjoy!

Hi everyone!
It's been a busy month so far, so instead of meshing something new I decided to give one of my first creations a quick upgrade. Originally I planned just to replace the textures of this folk dress with HQ ones, but, of course, I got caught up in the process and remade half of the mesh as well (-.-).
I won't be removing the old version, as, with all its flaws, it's probably more maxis match, so maybe some people would prefer it over the new one. I guess it's always better to have a choice, right? In any case, you can find the old version HERE.
What's changed in the new version?
- better, sharper, HQ textures
- more natural, less saturated colours
- completely new skirt mesh - made from scratch, so closer to how it probably should look like
- small changes to the rest of the mesh (e.g. more natural-looking sleeves, some weird loose vertices removed etc)
- a REAL, proper bump map (you don't want to know how I used to make bump maps back then... you really don't)
- new, way more natural looking textures of binding (that part holding the corset together)
- the collar is now a separate cut and uses transparency = won't be displayed correctly in laptop mode
Here's a side-by-side comparison:

Comes in 17 swatches. Just as in the previous version, the differences between them are sometimes very small, but I swear each swatch is in some way different ;)

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, no shine
- tagged as casual, formal, party and hot weather
- found under long dress subcategory
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours included - you don't need it for the mesh to work.
Hope you agree with me that the new version is an improvement - and that at least some of you will find some use for it in your saves, even though it's such a niche item! Enjoy :)
PS. It's 'YF' because it's supposed to be worn only by maidens - for married women it was inappropriate to run around with their corsets in full view. Yes, of course I have the 'adult' version on my to-do list :)

Vintage Hats Collection pt. 1
Decades Challenge Starter Collection pt. 1
Hi everyone!
Today's pieces were... Not exactly commissioned, but suggested by the one and only Bats from Westeros - and that's where the name of this set comes from. No worries, in reality those are perfectly normal hats for ladies, not flying animals ^^.
I don't know the exact dating, but judging from similar fashion plates I've seen I'd say they're suitable for late 1880s/early-mid 1890s. Could work for late 1890s as well - that decade was crazy about almost any hats.
1a and 1b are basically the same hat, just version 1b has a white or black veil attached. Both come in 28 swatches, hat no. 2 comes in 30. That would make... 86 screenshots if I wanted to show them all, so I did it the lazy way this time and created just a small preview of some of them (see above).

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, hat no. 1 comes with some shine
- tagged as casual, formal, party and hot weather
- found under brimless subcategory
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- no hat chops; default hat placement adjusted to Maggie hairstyle by Anto
- hat slider compatible; in case of hat no. 2 the ribbon doesn't move with the slider:

No PDN files this time, sorry! The hats should be easy to recolour even without them, and in case you need them you can always simply write me :).
Please let me know if you encounter any problems. Hope you'll like them, enjoy!

Hi everyone!
Lately I received an ask about vintage nightshirts for boys - if I could make one or if I know where to find one - and I realised that indeed, it's a much needed item for historical gameplay. Actually, it made me recall that I was struggling myself with sleepwear for my eldest boy since he aged into a child; for now he's been sleeping in a girls' nightgown, but it looked... Let's just say, not ideal. So, for the first time ever, I decided to really make an outfit someone suggested to me! Gasp! It's a shock, I know, but apparently miracles happen from time to time ;).
The only visual reference I found came from 1905, but it should work for many earlier (and some later) decades as well. The nightshirt fashion wasn't changing too rapidly ;).
Comes in 14 striped swatches:

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, no shine
- tagged as sleepwear only
- found under robe subcategory
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours included - you don’t need it for the mesh to work
Known problems: the stripes get a bit distorted when you sims... How do I say it without sounding weird? Uhm, spread their legs. It has to do with weights, but it's been a fight to make them work as well as they do now and I'm too afraid that further fine tuning will just ruin everything. Usually it's nothing drastic, so hopefully you won't mind it.
Hope you'll find some use for it in your saves, enjoy!

Hi everyone! Just checking in to let you know - in case some of you follow me only here and not on tumblr - that I started writing a tutorial for those who'd like to learn how to make their own CC, but have zero idea how to do it. My plan to make it a complete course, explaining all the steps of CC making. Of course, it's a work in progress and for now I have only 2 parts published, but if you're interested, check it HERE!
As for my own CC, I hope I'll be able to publish something soon. I'm going through a lower motivation phase right now and I don't want to push myself, so that it wouldn't end with a total burnout, so I'm just waiting for it to pass. It's not the first time it happens, no worries, it'll come back. You know me by now: I disappear for three weeks and then publish a new piece every week for the next 2 months... Yeah, I'm not systematic, but it works quite well anyway, huh? And if you expect it to change, better abandon all hopes now :P.

03.10.2020 edit: Sims wearing v2 of the dress won't suddenly turn all glossy (and lose their hands) when you zoom out anymore. Fixed some unwelcome spikiness in lower lods of both versions as well. Please redownload!
30.07.2020 edit:
Fixed a couple of issues with both versions of the dress:
- it won't explode when you zoom out any more
- the ugly skin-colour lines between separate parts on the mesh should be gone
- new, smoother bump map, so it should look less 'blocky'
Please redownload!

20.06.2020 edit:
I added v2 of the dress, this time with satin textures! That's how I imagined this dress from the start, just lacked the skills to do it. It's a new file, so it won't overwrite the old one; if you want to, you can keep both in your game. I left v1 in case someone prefers it less shiny. Enjoy!

Hi everyone!
Sometimes, when I browse through fashion plates in search of some inspiration, I stumble across pieces which seem to be perfect for a certain sim from my story. And this red dress... It just screamed Bella Goth. It was too perfect to not answer its calling. So... Here it is! Yet another 1898 dress (what is it with 1898? Why do all the coolest designs come from this year only?)
Comes in 26 swatches. I tried to make them as versatile as possible: saturated dark colours, subdued dark colours, pastels, some saturated & bright combos... Could be worn by sexy widows, witches, aristocratic ladies and Sailor Moon - anyone should find something they'll like.
V1:

V2:

- polycount: ca. 12K
- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, some gentle shine
- tagged as casual, party, hot weather and witch
- found under long dress subcategory
- colour tagged
- allowed for random
- PDN for recolours included - you don’t need it for the mesh to work. If you want to recolour v2, you need to add the 'Satin' file as a top layer and change it to 'overlay'.
A close-up of some of the details:

I haven't spotted any problems, but please let me know if you encounter any!
Hope you'll like it, enjoy :)

Hi everyone!
The previous 1898 day dress was quite glam, so I thought it'd be nice to have a simpler one as well. Ironically, only while meshing I realised that this one has a way more complicated cut, so it might be not that 'simple' after all... But it looks - at least to me - like it's made of cotton and the pattern is way less outstanding as well, so maybe it wasn't a total miss?
Comes in 13 swatches:

- polycount: ca. 6K
- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, no shine
- tagged as casual, party and hot weather
- found under long dress subcategory
- colour tagged
- allowed for random
- PDN for recolours included - you don’t need it for the mesh to work
The only problem I spotted is that if your sims are really huge and sit down at a table, the skirt can clip with it. I'm afraid there isn't much I can do about it, but if you notice anything else, please let me know!
Hope you'll like it, enjoy :)

Hello everyone!
It's been months since I published my first (and only) day dress for women, so I'm very happy that I can finally present you with another one. It was supposed to be ready for Easter, actually, but - as you can see - I didn't manage to get it done on time. In any case, Easter might be over, but spring certainly isn't, so may our sims enjoy it in style!
I went a bit overboard with swatches this time: 29!

- polycount: 7K
- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible (pictures taken with the mod)
- all LODS
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, quite a lot of shine (in my head it's made of silk, so...)
- tagged as casual, party and hot weather
- found under long dress subcategory
- colour tagged
- allowed for random, because why not?
- PDN for recolours included - you don't need it for the mesh to work
I haven't spotted any problems, but let me know if you encounter any!
Hope you and your sims are going to like it. Enjoy :)

Vintage Winterwear Collection pt. 11
Hello everyone!
Here comes another winter coat for your Victorian boys.
This piece has a kind of funny backstory: when I just started working on my previous coat for boys and felt utterly unmotivated to do it, I went to our Sims of History Discord, posted my reference pictures and whined a bit about how ugly and uninspiring they are. That's all it was supposed to be: a bit of whining, to get the frustration out... But then one of the fellow simmers wrote sth like: 'Hey, but that triple cape looks cute!'. And then another person wrote the same, and another - and soon it turned into a mini-voting, with literally everyone going for the triple cape. I was very surprised, actually - I didn't find it especially appealing and, if anything, I find the whole Victorian obsession with making little boys into sailors slightly creepy - but with such a clear favourite, I had no other choice but to make it ;).
Comes in 16 swatches, this time only without trousers (I think it's meant rather for younger boys, so no long pants - Linzlu's woollen socks is all they can get :P).

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, no shine
- tagged as casual and cold weather
- found under outerwear subcategory
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours finally included - you don't need it for the coat to work
Known problems: as always, no cape (at least of mine ;)) is perfect, and the more intricate it is, the more problematic it gets. Works quite well in normal gameplay, but posing boys in this one is a nightmare, not gonna lie. Please tell me if you notice any bigger issues!
I hope you'll like it, despite the small imperfections. Enjoy!

Hi everyone!
So... Apparently my last 'fix' of the 1895 coat broke one of the swatches (the last one, in pale pink, to be precise). Good that it was exactly the one I wanted to use, so I noticed that problem at all! Having a bunch of working swatches and only one broken one is a pretty weird bug tbh - my guess is that the package file got corrupted while transferring it from my old PC to the new one, as I couldn't even open that swatch in S4S.
Anyway: it's repaired once again, this time hopefully for good. Please redownload HERE! Only the coat package, no changes to any of the other files.
Sorry for the trouble, I know it must be annoying :/

Vintage Winterwear Collection pt. 10
Hello everyone, happy April Fools! Wishing you all only genuinely funny jokes today and no silly / disappointing / annoying ones. Please don't forget what day it is if you read any unbelievably exciting news today, ok? I still remember last year's outrage after SimsVip 'announced' a 'Get Schooled' EP...
Anyway, this ain't no April Fools joke: I finally made my first outfit for boys. I know it took me forever and I'm so sorry for this discrimination; dear simboys, please forgive me! The truth is, it's very difficult to find any reference pictures for boys' outfits, and the ones which are out there are... Let's say, not exactly thrilling. But well - thrilling or not, boys need something to wear too, right? So, I finally overcame my dislike for those dull fashion plates and tried to change them into something wearable.
The outfit comes in 2 versions: with bare legs (a) or with trousers (b). I know you can't see it on the main picture, but trust me, there is a difference ;). Both versions come in 15 swatches:

- Base Game Compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump and specular maps, no shine
- found under outerwear subcategory
- tagged as everyday & cold weather
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours included (no trousers version - if you want to recolour v1b, you'll have to copy & paste the trousers from any of the existing diffuse maps). You don't need it for the mesh to work!
Known problems: I mean, it's a cape coat, so obviously it comes with some imperfections... But I think it works quite fine. As good as it gets, I'd dare to say ;). Let me know if you experience any bigger issues!
Hope you'll like it. Enjoy!

Back when I was looking for inspiration for THIS gown, I accidentally stumbled upon a morning robe for men and thought - hey, why not? I know we got a kind of similar one with Vintage Glamour, but somehow I can't get to like it, so I decided it wouldn't hurt to make my own version.
The design comes from 1898, but it should be usable for maaaaaaany decades. Could even pass as contemporary. Basically, it's pretty timeless.
Comes in 19 swatches (which took me way too much time but as a result I love them all):

- Base Game Compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- all LODs
- custom thumbnail, bump & specular maps, a bit of gentle shine
- tagged as everyday and sleepwear
- found under 'Robes' subcategory
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours included - you don't need it for the file to work
No problems spotted, but please let me know if anything doesn't work fine for you!
Enjoy :)

I made a small correction to the 1895 coat which I shared in THIS post. Please delete the old package and redownload! Only the coat, there are no changes made to the hat and the muffs.
The right sleeve of the coat was exploding a little bit. I'm a bit perplexed - how did I manage to miss this one? I'm pretty sure it looked ok back when I was checking it. But, in the meantime I switched to a new PC and 'installed' the HD mod - and I have the feeling it was the last one which made the difference in this case. Anyway, the fix was quick and easy, and it looks alright again. Hopefully for everyone :D.
Sorry for the trouble!

2000+ Tumblr followers gift & Vintage Winterwear project pt. 9
I'm actually a week or two late with this gift - you guys were too quick! Thank you so so much for all the love and interest in my CC. I know I keep repeating it after every milestone, but all that positive energy coming from you is a major motivating factor. Take this cape, for example - my goodness, what an annoying project! I've been working on it for weeks and hadn't it been for you, I would've most probably ditched it. But I wanted badly to make something special for you, to thank you for all the support - so I went on, fighting with the weights and... Here it is. A vintage accessory cape.
Is it perfect? Nope. It doesn't look as good as the girls' cape, mostly because of women having the audacity to grow boobs. There is some clipping involved, even while eg. eating. Still, I think it ended up looking quite nice and works as good as it gets. Hope you'll agree :).
I did my best to make it compatible with a number of Victorian dresses I use in my game: by Linzlu, RetroPixels, Elfdor and even myself. A lot depends on your sim's breast size, but if you don't go too crazy in that area, it will work just fine. With non-puffy dresses you should be completely on the safe side. However, keep in mind that it won't work with any outfit having 'high' shoulders!
Comes in 15 swatches, including a mourning one (ofc...):

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- custom thumbnail, bump & specular maps, some gentle shine
- found under necklaces
- tagged as everyday, cold weather and witch (?)
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- not sharing PDN file this time as it looks almost the same as the 1st diffuse map
Hope you'll like it, enjoy!

a.k.a. Vintage Winterwear Collection pt. 8
Hi everyone!
Winter is slowly coming to an end (finally!) and so is my winterwear project (finally!). It's still not the last cold weather piece I've got planned, but it is the last one for men. This time it's supposed to be an ulster, so basically - according to my very professional and in-depth research - just a very warm & thick winter coat (some pages claim that ulster means a coat with a cape - idk, this one doesn't have one and the description still calls it an ulster, so someone is lying here to me :P). It's long, it's warm, it's elegant, it's even got a posh fur collar - so who could be a better model for this one than our all-time favourite richman, Mortimer Goth?
Comes in the usual 14 swatches from my 'male' palette:

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- custom thumbnail, bump & specular maps, no shine
- tagged as casual and cold weather
- found under 'outerwear' category
- colour tagged
- disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours included - you don't need it for the mesh to work
Known problems: some of the buttons get 'eaten' by the belly if your sim is on the bigger side in this area. This is the price we have to pay for the buttons not getting distorted with sliders ;).
I haven't spotted anything else, but please let me know if you do - I'll try to fix it!
I hope you'll like it. Enjoy!

04.10.2020 edit: updated with new CAS placement, new colours for thumbnail (matching the other 1880s pieces), small corrections to the mesh (looked ok, but just in case...)

Evening everyone!
I'm a bit weary of the whole winterwear project, so this time I decided to make something else, which had been on my mind already for some time. As you can see, it's a morning (a.k.a. dressing) gown - an easy-to-put-on garment which you could wear - you guessed it - in the morning, when you didn't have the time yet to deal with any proper toilette, but also didn't want to run around in your nightgown. Basically, a perfect choice for a lazy family breakfast! As long as there are no guests staying over, of course...
Looking at that reference picture, I kept having a strange feeling that I've already seen something very similar - and indeed, it was Sifix' beautiful Saga gown that I was thinking of. It would've been perfect... If only it wasn't for that very non-Victorian décolletage! So, I edited the mesh a little bit to fix this problem (adjusting some other things on the way too, because oh well, if I'm already doing it then why not go the full way...) and Sifix was kind enough to let me release this piece to you guys. So, here it comes!
13 swatches - Sifix' original ones (just with some different texture, as I like my stuff more "grainy") + 2 new: in full black and another variation of the red swatch (because I couldn't decide which undershirt looks better :P).

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- mesh included = you don't need the Saga gown for it to work (but in case you want it anyway, here it is, once again: CLICK!)
- custom thumbnail; bump & specular maps copied from the OG dress (loads of shine!)
- all LODs
- tagged as casual, sleepwear and witch (idk, I find it quite witchy...)
- disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours included, though I added literally one layer compared to the OG dress. You don't need it for the mesh to work.
Known problems: none, but let me know if you spot anything!
Btw, it's the oldest piece of clothing I ever made. 1889! I keep going back in time lately. That means it's still got some bustle - nothing extreme, but the big butt is there. Or at least that's what I was trying to achieve :).
I hope you like it. Enjoy!

Vintage Winterwear Collection pt. 7
Hi everyone!
Here comes my quickest creation ever - done in a couple of hours. If only all pieces were that simple! It's basically a top from my 1st winter coat for men, with a different collar and some small adjustments, so that all those buttons would fit in all the right places. Oh yes, it has buttons as well!
You're of course free to use it any way you want, but in my head it's a jacket for poorer sims. I mean, it's twice shorter than the full-length winter coat, so it's probably much cheaper as well, right? Plus, it's called a sack suit. Doesn't sound too aristocratic to me...
Should be usable for many decades, as male fashion changes slooooooowly. Well, at least in comparison to female.
Comes in 14 swatches, in my usual 'male' palette:

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- All LODs
- Custom thumbnail, bump & specular maps, some gentle shine on the tie & shirt
- Disallowed for random
- Tagged as everyday, official, party & cold weather wear
- Found under tops => jackets (?) - it's not a full body outfit! Pair it with any trousers you want (for the previews I used simple BG pants)
- PDN file for recolours included - you don't need it for the mesh to work
Known problems: looks a bit stupid when sims sit down, especially if they're blessed with a huge belly. I hope it won't bother you too much!
I hope you'll like it. Enjoy!

Vintage Winterwear Collection pt. 6
Hello everyone!
Here comes another coat for your ladies. This time it's a tad older, as the design comes from 1891 only (you can still see some slight remains of the 1880s bustle - you're definitely supposed to notice rather the butt/skirt than the shoulders). It will be perfect if you've just started the Decades Challenge and need something for the cooler early spring days! That is... if you chose to start in spring.
It comes in 20 swatches, including one mourning and 3 half-mourning ones:

Fun fact: my husband calls the last 5 'the Witcher swatches' and I must admit - once I saw it, I can't unsee it. So maybe it could be something for your spellcasters as well?
- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- All LODs
- Custom thumbnail, bump & specular maps, no shine
- Tagged as everyday & cold weather
- Found under outerwear subcategory
- Colour tagged
- Disallowed for random
- PDN for recolours included - you don't need it for the mesh to work
Known problems: actually... none! <gasp> But let me know if you spot anything.
I hope you'll like it. Enjoy!

A.k.a. Vintage Winterwear Collection pt. 5
Hi everyone!
Here's another coat for your 1890s girls.
Now, if you're thinking 'but it looks exactly like the previous one!', you're not too far off - I did indeed use last week's coat as a base for this one, so the general shape looks very similar. There are, however, some differences: this one lacks that binding clip on the front, is in general a bit more open, has some more buttons, pockets, and, most of all, a two-layered cape. Or, to quote the official description, it has a 'pointed over-cape' which is 'handsomely trimmed with braid'.
It's definitely fancier than the previous coat + cape combo, which was so simple that it was even called 'military'. I thought having them both in game could help you make more individual sims. You know, like... Poorer or richer ones?
Just like the previous version, it should work for the whole decade, depending on what kind of sleeves you imagine underneath that cape ;).
It comes in 18 swatches, including a pure black one (one thing I learned: it's always a good idea to make a mourning swatch):

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- custom thumbnail, bump & specular maps, no shine
- tagged as casual and cold weather
- found under outerwear category
- PDN for recolours included - you don't need it for the mesh to work
Known problems: as with the previous one, the cape can look weird in certain positions. I did what I could, I playtested it and I think it works fine enough, but if your girl does something completely wild with her arms, it will look strange. I'm sorry for that, but I'm afraid it's the best I can do - and I guess it's better than nothing.
Hope you and your sims will like it. Enjoy and happy simming!

Morning everyone!
Here comes another 1890s coat for your male sims. As you can see, even though it's made of wool, the cut resembles rather a suit than a coat - therefore, I'd say it's appropriate mostly for fashion victims, whose main goal, even during winter, is to look as handsome as possible. Or just for any sim who's impervious to cold. That's why my today's model is a famous snob from Oasis Springs, Malcolm Landgraab ^^.
Comes in 15 swatches (same palette as last time + 2 new):

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- allowed for random
- custom thumbnail & bump map, no shine
- tagged as casual & cold weather
- colour tagged
- found under outerwear category
- PDN file for recolours included (if you take away the 'material' layer and add some gentle specular, it should make for a nice, elegant suit) - you don't need it for the mesh to work
Known problems: the bottom of the suit cuts into sims legs while sitting. Looks a bit stupid, but at least it doesn't come out on the other side of the legs, so I hope we're good.
Also, the trousers clip with some shoes. They are set to go over any type of shoes, but apparently they're a little bit too narrow in the ankle area, so if you choose really wide boots, it won't look too good. Sorry!
It's just a very basic garment, but sometimes that's exactly what you need. Hope your sims will find it useful!

Hi everyone!
Here comes part 2 of my late XIX-century Polish paintings' collection. Same authors as last time (I think only Ms. Bilińska didn't make it this time? Apparently she wasn't much into landscapes...), same price (1455 simoleons), base game compatible.
Just as in case of pt. 1, the main collection is divided into 3 packages: 1869-1889, 1890-1894 and finally 1895-1900. And, just as in case of part 1, there's also a separate package with 'narrow' paintings; this one has different colours of swatches to indicate different time periods.
Found under 'Paintings', ofc.
1869-1889 swatches (25):

1890-1894 swatches (34):

1895-1900 swatches (21):

The 'narrow' swatches (12):

Some close-ups:

The pictures are small, but can be easily made bigger with the ] key. They stay HQ:

Hope you and your sims will enjoy them :)

Hi everyone!
I got a bit tired and frustrated with difficult CAS stuff, so I decided to do something easy and unproblematic for once. It's a simple recolour of BG pictures; I kept the original frames and replaced the pictures with a selection of works by late XIX century Polish painters.
I went for Poland as I needed something my sims could potentially have access to, but they should be pretty international. I chose almost exclusively portraits & landscapes, no 'our glorious motherland kicking everyone's butts' type of paintings. No worries ;).
The main set is divided into 3 parts: 1869-1889, 1890-1894 and 1895-1900. Just in case you are - like me - hypercorrect and don't want to by any chance let your sims own a painting which shouldn't exist yet. There's also set no. 4, using a different, narrow frame - this one isn't divided into any groups, but I marked the time periods with swatches' colours.
The selection includes works of Olga Boznańska, Leon Wyczółkowski, Aleksander Gierymski, Józef Chełmoński, Władysław Czachórski, Teodor Axentowicz, Anna Bilińska-Bohdanowicz, Władysław Podkowiński, Józef Pankiewicz and Kazimierz Alchimowicz. I didn't know half of these people (and 3/4 of all those works) myself, so making this set was a fun little adventure. Almost all the paintings come from THIS site - check it out if you'd like to know exactly which painting is by whom (or if you just want to stare at some art :P).
Here comes a preview (some swatches might be missing, I added them at the very last moment):
1869-1889 package: 24 swatches

1890-1894 package: 34 swatches

1895-1900 package: 28 swatches

1883-1900 (narrow) package: 15 swatches

That's it. Hope you and your sims will enjoy them!
Part 2 - the more landscapey one - coming soon.

Hello everyone!
It's part 3 of my Vintage Winterwear collection. This time a little something for your 1890s girls!
The original came from 1895, to be precise, but kids' fashion wasn't changing as fast as adults', so I think it should work for almost the whole decade. The only difference would be the sleeves - extreme puffs for, let's say, 1894-96 and small to zero puffs for anything before and after that period. Actually, I planned to make 2 versions of this coat, puffed and "un-puffed", but then realised you can't see them anyway under that cape, so what's the point? So, you're getting only one version and you'll have to imagine the puffs underneath if that's what you want ;).
Comes in 16 swatches (apparently I forgot to photograph the last one - it's in lila):

Also, it seems I'm slowly transitioning from my blue phase to a green phase. I made seven swatches in either of those colours. Don't know why, it just looked good. You'll have to deal with me :].
- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- custom thumbnail, bump & specular maps, no shine
- tagged as everyday & cold weather
- found under outerwear subcategory
- PDN file for recolours included - you don't need it for the mesh to work
Known problems: the cape. Let's just say, TS4 is not very cape/cloak friendly. I did what I could and I think it looks... Not perfect, ofc, but decent. You'll probably encounter some problems if your sim decides to do some crazy stuff with their arms, but eating, doing homework, making a mess, napping, peeing, washing hands and all such daily activities look ok. I think. Ofc let me know if you discover it completely doesn't work in a certain situation - I'll try to look into it.
As always: don't claim it's yours, don't monetise, don't put behind paywalls or on potentially dangerous sites - other than that, use it in any way you want. Recolour, include the mesh, edit, use as a base for your own stuff, I'm fine with it all. Just let me know once you're done, I'd like to see what you made! :)
And here just a couple of in-game pictures of that cursed cape:

Vintage winterwear collection pt 2
Men need something to wear in the cold season as well, right?
It's a cosy, woollen coat, I'd say appropriate for medium-rich male sims, whose priority in winter is first and foremost to stay warm. Basically, for anyone who lives in Windenburg, especially in the countryside ;).
It comes in 13 swatches - mostly your usual browns and greys, but I tried to include some more colourful options as well. Here's a small preview:

Also, yes, there are two greenish swatches. That's what you get if you're working on textures in the Christmas season :P.
- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- shoe chops included (trousers go over narrow shoes, but get tucked in the biggest ones)
- edit of an EA mesh (believe me or not, this was a doctor's uniform)
- custom thumbnail, shadow, bump & specular maps
- some very delicate shine on the necktie
- tagged as everyday & cold weather
- found under outerwear subcategory
- allowed for random
- PDN for recolours included - you don't need it for the mesh to work
Known problems: there's a tiny little bit of some weird shade on both palms which comes from llama knows where. I tried to find the cause, but after 2 hours decided to give up. It's such a small thing that I didn't even notice it before, and I was playing a sim dressed in this, so I hope you won't mind it either.
Also, I know those pockets are a joke, but hey, I did my best :P.
As always, don't post as your own & don't repost on potentially dangerous sites (yes, that means no simsdom, adfly & co.!) - other than this, do whatever you want. The PDN file is included in case you want to make some recolours. Feel free to include the mesh. Just be so kind to mention me somewhere and drop me a line, ok?
Hope you and your sims will like it. Enjoy!

A.k.a. Vintage Winterwear Collection pt. 1 (yep, there will be more!)
Hello everyone! Long time no see. Hope you had a wonderful start in the new year!
In this cold and gloomy season - at least on this hemisphere - I bring you a cold weather outfit for your sim ladies. Technically it's supposed to be a skating outfit, but I don't think it should be excluded from any other wintery activities. This time it's inspired not by a fashion plate, but by a piece by a modern recreator of vintage fashions. Check this page if you'd like to know how the OG piece looked like!
The set consists of 3 pieces (or 4, depending how you count it): the outfit, the hat and the muff, which comes in 2 versions (as a left or right hand bracelet). The outfit has 19 swatches, the hat - 12 and the muff(s) - 5. Here's a small preview of some of them:

- Base Game compatible
- HQ mod compatible
- works on all body types
- custom everything (bumps, shadows, thumbnails); no shine
- tagged as everyday and cold weather
- disallowed for random
- PDN files for recolours of coat and hat included. You DON'T need them for the items to appear in your game!
The only problem I spotted is that sim's fingers shine through the muffs in certain positions. There's not much I can do about it - I don't want the muffs to move with the fingers and there's no way of stopping the fingers from moving altogether - but I hope you won't mind, as it's barely visible. If you notice anything else, please let me know!
Also, as always, feel free to recolour, include the mesh, use as a base for your own creations etc. Basically do anything you want as long as you don't: 1) post it as your own; 2) repost it on potentially dangerous sites. Other than that, I don't mind whatever you do.
Hope you'll like it! Enjoy & happy simming :)
