After hopping across Croatia, Bosnia, and Montenegro, it was time to continue the Balkan journey. Now the largest country of former Yugoslavia, Serbia. I messaged Shiey and he was immediately on board, and like that we took a flight to Budapest and crossed into Serbia by bus. When I was preparing for the trip Serbia seemed to be a very easy country in terms of trainhopping. Lots of trains, an old railroad network, and lax security. I went there with a good feeling. Unfortunately, things turne...

When I was in the Czech republic on my journey from Belgium to Hungary I saw a pretty interesting train in the yard, I went to check it out and I read on the transport papers that the train was going to Koper, a coastal city in Slovenia. I imagined it would be a nice route and I kept it in mind.
Now that the weather is a bit warmer, I decided it was a good time to execute the plan. I went to my friend Aki in Vienna, he knew a spot in town where the train would stop for a brief moment. U...

Spain had been on my mind for a long time. The good temperatures and beautiful scenery made trainhopping there very attractive. After doing a lot of research, I concluded that the country wasn’t possible to travel by freight because of the Iberian railway. The Iberian railway has a different track gauge than the rest of Europe, meaning that not a lot of freight trains cross into Spain. Instead, they transport most of their cargo on trucks. They do have their freight wagon fleet, but they’...

Albania was a country I’ve always wanted to visit. Here in Europe, it has a bad reputation. When people think of Albania, they think about the Albanian mafia, poverty, and corruption. Those things are unfortunately true, but I knew that there was so much more to this country, and I wanted to explore it for myself. Unfortunately, it has one of the worst train systems on the continent. That means that there is barely any freight traffic, so hopping across the country was off the table. I stil...

Since I didn’t have a lot of time during the holidays for a big trip, I decided to visit Berlin. I spent some time there and did some cool actions. I filmed it all and decided to make a short video about it. It is very different from the rest of my videos, but I also enjoy making these kind of videos. Now I'm planning my next trip. These months are always the hardest to do a trainhopping journey because it’s cold everywhere in Europe. Waiting for days or sleeping outside in sub-zero tempe...

After we hopped off the train in Bar, we decided to chill some days and explore the rest of the coastline. On the second day, we slept near a ruin on a peninsula. When we woke up we decided to climb the Vrsuta mountain. We walked along the coast a bit until we reached the town of Sutomore, from there we started our climb. The climb was very beautiful with a lot of nice views and smells, it was quite a way up, and the only ones we encountered were a man and his fully packed donkey. Probably a ...

Here it is, my trainhopping journey across Montenegro.
This trip was pretty spontaneous. I suddenly got some free time and I decided not to waste it, so I messaged Shiey if he was down to surf across Montenegro. Of course, he said yes. I had the route planned out for two years now, it’s one of the easiest routes in Europe, theoretically. One line, one type of transport, and endless nature. So I packed my bags and got a cheap flight to Montenegro, where I met up with Shiey.

Part 5 of the Europe journey. For me, this was one of the most interesting parts of the journey. After a twelve-hour stop in Arad, the train finally continued it's journey towards Simeria, driving through the Transylvanian hills and valleys. The journey took a while because the train stopped a lot, but after 15 hours we arrived at our destination, the city of Simeria.
We went to a Kiosk to buy some supplies, and there we met Sebas, a citizen of Simeria, who also loved to travel. W...

The fifth part of the Europe journey is a bit delayed because I went to Montenegro for 10 days. I wanted to do this country when the nature was still green, and the temperatures were still pleasant. The trip was great and everything worked out the way I wanted it. Now I'm back home and I'm gonna start editing the fifth part of the Europe journey, after that, the Montenegro video will come. Stay tuned!

We are in Romania for two days now. After jumping off an intermodal, which we rode for 15 hours, we caught this train in the city of Arad. It's a log train bound for Moldova, but we won't ride it all the way there. Right now we are sided in a yard at the border of Transylvania, a central province in Romania. There is nothing around us except mountains, fields and trees. It's quiet. We are uncertain when it will move, but for now I don't really care. After riding for hours on a loud freight tr...

It's been a while since I posted because I had some things to deal with, but here it is! Part two of my trainhop to Hungary. I decided to make one long video, because I thought the video would look better as a whole. Part two of this journey was very different for me, since I wasn't alone anymore, but with three other guys. I had never met one of them, but we got along very well. It was really nice for me to meet people with the same hobby as me, as there are only a few who really do it in We...

I got bored of the bad weather in Belgium, and I just got some time off. So I decided to do a new journey again. Normally I was going to a different country, but because of some complications, I didn't even get to the starting point. Luckily I had a plan B. I was going to travel to the Czech Republic, to meet some trainhoppers there, and do something with them. I could take a plane there, and start the trip in Czech, but I felt like that wasn't the right way. So the next day I went to a yard,...

After a 34 hour bus ride, and a walk across the border, I made it home safely, all the way from Bosnia. This mission wasn't an easy one. Even getting to the starting point was a big hassle. I wasn't allowed to leave the country, and the flights were expensive and not frequent. But when we arrived on the location, we encounterd a bigger issue. The lack of trains.
There is no Google street view in Bosnia, nor are there videos from trains or recent pictures. The biggest part of my re...

Hello everyone, thanks for still being here! I’m departing on my next journey soon. It is really difficult for me to travel right now, that’s why there are not many videos being uploaded. Right now I’m not even allowed to leave the country. They control the airports and only with a valid reason I'm allowed to travel. I tried my best to get the necessary documents, but it didn’t work. I just got fined instead. But that doesn’t stop me. In a week I’m gonna fly from another country. ...

This is a picture I took in a yard right at the border with Portugal and Spain. We were sitting on a flatbed wagon, wondering where we should spend the night, since it was 0° Celsius, and we didn't had any proper gear. We ended up sleeping on a used matress and bags of straw we stole from a truck, the only thing keeping us warm was a fire. A couple hours later, before the sun even came up we were on our way to a freighttrain that would get us to Lisbon, the capital city. All that, and more, ...

Hi there, I hope you had a nice New Year's Eve and I wish you all the best for 2021. Let's hope this year looks a bit more positive. But COVID or not, I will keep doing my adventures. I have a lot of things planned this year, if everything stays the same as it is now, in terms of lockdowns, I will be leaving for my first trip of the year within a few weeks. I will also continue the Europe journey with Shiey and Rico in summer and I'm also going to make an attempt to trainhop across Scandinavi...

First of all, Thank You. Because of your pledge I can develop my channel and do more journeys. I have a lot of stuff planned, but it all costs money. Right now I can't really afford to do a lot of trips, because I need the money for other things. But the money I earn with patreon, I will strictly use for the journey's. When I have some more patreons, I can afford to do bigger journey's for example hopping across Canada, or the States. There is so much more to explore for me, and I will take a...
