Today i have uploaded a short video about painting some leather straps of the ogor. The material i have choose is smooth and reflective. I was not sure if i share it, always think it has too less substance. I will make more videos about leather and fabrics in future, its a great topic with many possibilities to do texturing. White armor step by step PDF

Painting a battle-worn red armor

While i was painting the red Spacemarine last time, i decided to start painting an alternative red NMM much faster than usual, without to take care about smoothness, rather to build up sketchy lights with textures and battlemarks.  

What a year!

There are only a few hours left, and while sipping on my drink, and think about this year, i can´t be happier, from my sight as an artist and painter. Finally i've finished this video about painting a red spacemarine armor, with an additional blue light OSL. It took a bit longer than usual, but i hope your patience get paid off.

Warm cold illustration

Hi guys, i had started this guy painting red many months ago, to work out some red scheme. Last week i have decided spontaneous to play around, with a second intense cold lighting, to illustrate the cold warm contrast effect. Impressions of my NMM class

Berek Update

Hey guys, i just want to show you what my plans for Berek are. The idea behind this scene was to make Berek corrupted by darkness and evil energy, to slay his own brothers. The colors show how he turned entirely evil. There are some rework to do, but i couldnt show this before the face was ready. I have recorded the painting of the scary face, and hope to show it soon. Finished Silver Castigator

Hi guys, here are the final images of the Castigator. I hope you enjoyed the ride with this one. Im very happy with the result, especially after some dead ends, finding matching colors, for the inner side of the robe, and the crossbow. Maybe i could add a freehand to the robe, but as long i have no concrete idea, i declare this as finished.

Last WIP pictures

Hey guys, unfortunatly i couldnt managed to finish my Castigator before my vacation. I get stucked while i tried to paint the metals of the crossbow. I was not satisfied, so i had a lot of repainting. Finally im happy with the tone of the metal, because it stays well together with the silver and gold.
