Upcoming content: Japanese Bf 109, ASW and The Flight to Nowhere

Hey there,

It's the month of May, so high time for another update. End of April was a hectic time. I had a quick business trip over to Austria, which was quite a journey under the current measures. There, Bernhard from MHV and I were finally able to send out all signed copies of the book we crowdfunded last year - I believe some of you got yourself a copy. If so, please do let us know what you thought about it!

The trip also meant that I had to stay ten days in mandatory quarant...

Above a little sneakpeak for the upcoming video on the Me 262. As a supporter bonus, I've added a document on the aircraft, as well as a wallpaper from the video here:

Of course, the majority of the manuals on the  262 are  - no surprise - in German, and sometimes protected by copy rights (Archives etc). However, I found what appears to be a shortened but translated co...

Upcoming content: P-47D, P-39, German cannons and Mirage III

Hey all,

I hope you all had a great weekend, it's time for another production update!

This time, it is a good news, bad news situation. The good news is, multiple videos are very close to being done. The 'bad' news is that there will be a bit of a delay on the content for Early Access, mainly because I am limited by a couple of bottlenecks. Since I am not 'at home', I edit on my laptop which is slower but most issues are the bureaucratic steps like museum sign offs and editin...

How to use the Radar Control on a Swiss Mirage III

Hey all,

Work is progressing on the Inside The Cockpit Episode on the Swiss Mirage III but part of this planes unique history provided an interesting bottleneck - that being the American TARAN 18 system.

When Switzerland bought the Mirage III from France, it decided against the use of the already installed (and working) French Cyrano radar system. Instead, Switzerland used the TARAN 18 which required substantial changes to the aircraft and cockpit - this is not a plu...

Sorry for the extended 'silence' on my part. The last weeks have been focused on getting as many videos done as possible in advance, as I will be going back to Germany for an extended duration of a few months since short trips are neither worth it or advisable at the moment. When in Germany, I will also be trying to go to archives and museums, where and when possible. If this is something that can be planned, you will of course be the first to know.

From Wreck to Restored & Flying WW2 Fighter

Hey all,

As mentioned recently, today's video is a sponsored episode hence why I could only give a 'shorter' early access to it. The video revolves around the 1,100 Supermarine Spitfires Mk IX sent to the Soviet Union (thus it is an annex to another video I made some time ago) during World War 2. All of these planes were thought lost until the turn of the century when one was found and made it back as a wreck. Now, in 2020, it was restored into flying condition!
