Succession Rules - the Dance is not Over 50

Just a quick announcement to say I have begun writing the next chapter of The Dance is not Over (which is chapter 50...how time flies...)

I should have finished it by next Wednesday at the very latest.

The story to be updated after that will be The odds were never in my favour. Then will come, if nothing goes to complicate my schedule, An Impractical Guide to Godhood.

This not a chapter. Obviously. The mere idea a chapter could be approximately around 185 pages and 72,000 words long is ridiculous.

I'm sure you will agree, dear patrons.

The bad news is that it took me a lot of time to decide the scenes and what to write, one of the (many) reasons why I declare 12-1's writing officially over today.

Another bad news is that I have renounced giving a deadline to the poor beta(s). They will give back the not-chapter when they will have correct...

Major Storms after the Cataclysm

Okay, they have been mentioned several times in several chapters, so here are the major Warp Storms in existence which have formed now that certain unpleasant characters have been annihilated.

The two 'old storms' of the Eye of Terror and the Maelstrom have been coloured for clarity's sake, and then I added the eight other. Some of them came into existence right after Commorragh needed some remodelling, others came years after it.

And no, it is not a coincidence they are all beyon...

Calyx Hell Stars

A map of the Calyx Hell Stars which might be really useful for the not-updates currently published.

Obviously, this is several millennia early, so the 'world categories' is more or less useless; between the lack of Imperial settlers and the obvious Chaotic corruption, there's a lot of things that wouldn't have been here in a dark millennium that are very present now.

This is only just a guideline, obviously, because war rages everywhere, and with reinforcements arriving every day ...

Shiloh and new worlds

Change is coming for a certain region, though it may not be delivered in this update.

However, I wanted just to show the coordinnates of Shiloh compared to certain other planets.

Dear patreons, there are good news and bad news.

Good news: you're getting a not-update today, and the writing for the chapter is nearly over. 

Bad news: I'm afraid that contrary to what I promised, the chapter's writing will not end with the end of the month. (looks at his watch and calculates how many hours are left) Yep. It would take a holy miracle to finish this one in time.

And once it's done, I have to correct everything, revise some numbers by checking my notes,...

This is not an update. Updates are not 62 pages long in word format, and do not contain over 25,000 words only to end in a lair of giant rats.

I have not had the time to correct the previous mistakes mentioned in previous posts of not-teasers. I have seen them, dear patrons, it's just that writing the complete chapter takes priority, and if I return every hour back to the beginning, this is going to make me lose my muse(s).

Announcement writing schedule 14/01/2022

The preparations for the story you all love are over (and they are almost a chapter of the The odds were never in my favour in their own right).

The true writing will begin tomorrow. 

I will do my utmost to finish what promises to be an epic, epic Interlude before January's end.

The next post which absolutely won't be a teaser (so swears the Architect of Fate!) will be updated next week.

The odds 101 unbetaed - Carnival Civil War

Sorry it came so late in the month, but between several unexpected things which happened during the holidays (nothing bad, I will reassure everyone, but it ate my writing time) and the fact this chapter was 15,000 words long by the time I ended it, well...December is about to die, to imitate our dear Professor Trelawney.

Succession Problems

I have finished writing the chapter 49 of The Dance is not Over, which is, as the title of this post implies, Succession Problems.

As a result, I'm beginning the preparations to write The odds were never in my favour Chapter 101. It should truly start no later than Sunday.

The betas haven't (yet) sent back a certain beta-ed work, so the moment they do, I will need to take a break to correct it.

As such, I can't give a deadline of TOWNIMF 101. I can just reassure all readers ...

It's been a few eventful days in real life, and I had a lot of ideas to throw into paper...well time to go back to fruitful writing on my computer.

This is not an update - 04 November 2022

I spent a good week before realising I wasn't receiving any more alerts from fanfiction.net. Thankfully the rest of the website still works, but it's annoying as hell. Now I have every day to check manually if my favourite stories are updated, if I have received PMs, and all of the actions I took for granted before.

As I said, annoying.

Anyway, the writing continues. Autumn has really come, it is suddenly colder in the morning. It looks like the seasons are at last returning to so...
