Plans and Firepower

Weaver Option Update 20 December 2020

This is how far I've progressed until now on Ovation 9.3 Return to Wuhan. Obviously, it's not beta-ed yet, and there might be some changes if I'm not satisfied with a POV or so.  I would say it's...between 20 and 25% of the work done? I'm afraid I'm still not good at estimating how many words it's going to take me to finish a chapter.

Oh well. If you're all kind and charming, dear readers, the next one will be for the 24th (along with The odds were never in my favour monthly update...

Old and New Heroes

It took me a lot of hours (so many I won't disclose it) but the beta-ing work for Ovation 9-2 has been finally accomplished. Don't hesitate to pray for all the souls of the beta who have been sacrificed to the Astronomican in order for this feat to be possible.

Here is Black Meetings, chapter 77 of The odds were never in my favour. It also happens to be the last chapter of book three, Alexandra Potter and the Wars of Future Pasts.

Work has already begun, of course, on book four, Alexandra Potter and the European Magical Tournament.

Ovation 9.2 unbetaed

The chapter was sent yesterday to the betas, just saying. Unlike some past months, I really can't promise the update will be before month's end. We aren't in holiday period, everyone is tired, and the chapter is quite big (42 000 words and 96 pages according to word).

I am going to work on The Dance is not Over beginning next week. For the next three days, well...I will see, maybe the muses will inspire me to write a few one-shots.

Ovation Update 13 November 2020

The weekly update of the Weaver Option, which is about 22 000 words and contains...well, nearly everything I've written so far, which is a lot, I think.

We are so far around 19 POVs so that means we're past half of what should be the entire chapter.

As a reviewer told me recently Warhammer 40000 doesn't mean 40k words per chapter, except for me it does...

A Practical Guide to Galactic Domination Map

This is my first attempt at a proper map for the eventual crossover between a Practical Guide to Evil and Star Wars. I may change some things before the definite story comes up.

For the moment, writing on Ovation 9.2 of the Weaver Option has begun and it's going to take up most of my time.

Also to be noted, fanfiction.net appears to be returned from non-existence...somewhat.

As a precaution, I've inscribed myself to Archive of our Own.

Ovation 9.1 Deus Ex Mechanicus

I will check it again tomorrow to see if nothing has been forgotten and everything flows perfectly, but normally, it should the final version of Ovation 9.1 which will posted tomorrow.

Why tomorrow? Because ff.net is completely erratic in its functioning right now, and I have a lot of things to discuss with my beta.

Now it is (nearly) done, I can positively confirm work on Ovation 9.2 will begin on Thursday or Friday.
