Hello again, from a galaxy which is not about to be devoured by a Warp Storm.

As said before, writing proceeds well.

To prove it, this time the not-teaser is way bigger (over 20,000 words, I believe).

Plenty of major scenes have been written, so it shouldn't be long now before the Commissars are ready to deliver the manuscript to the betas.

Not-Teaser TWO - 4 February 2024

Okay, here is another not-teaser, dear readers, before I begin another arduous day of writing in a grimdark galaxy.

But before that, I must speak of a subject closely related to a certain Heresy.

The Siege of Terra series is finally over, with the third book of The End and the Death published.

One Shot - Doom is Inevitable (Marvel x Star Wars Crossover)

As promised, here is the one-shot I mentioned during the previous week.

Compared to other timelines, I tried to make something different, and in that case it was an attempt at the Self-Insert style of fanfic.

Western Essos prelude - eve of the War of the Beard

Since the chapters of the Dance is not Over are more and more about Essos these days, I began to modify a canon map this last week to show where the different frontiers between Free Cities are. 

I may also have to point out in-story that this map is very much something created by Westerosi authors, since it doesn't detail well, for example, how bloody valuable the lands controlled by Pentos are (the same can apply, in many ways, to Volantis or the Disputed Lands).

Right. Here we are, as promised. As I said yesterday, I am going to begin writing the next chapter of The odds were in my favour (most likely on Tuesday, I need time for the preparations), and this should keep me busy most of next week (at least).

Tyrannical Update - 11/12/2023

This is the tyrannical update of the month!

First, I have finished writing the chapter 24 of An Impractical Guide to Godhood, Return to Hell, and I have sent it to the beta. Therefore you can read it too here (19,000+ words).

In turn, this also means the beta-ing of the Chapter 23, Gallowborne, is over, and now it's update time everywhere else (which will happen in a few minutes/hours after this post). Since I'm a benevolent Tyrant today, this will be accompanied by the Chapter 20...

Okay, the title may be a bit misleading...just a little.

It is the update which was sent to the betas using Inquisitorial courier ships. Once they sent it back, the priority will be to have it as a Christmas update (whether it will be the 24, the 25, or any other day will be a surprise for you, bwhahaha!)

The final length of the update is 37,000+ words...I think I will try a similar lengt...

Here we go for another not-teaser of 13-1!

I promise it will be the last one.

The next update will be the full no-chapter, and it will come by Sunday at the very latest.

Since this not-teaser is around 30,000 words, that will give you the last...err...that should be 7,000-8,000 words? 13-1 is a small chapter by my standards, it won't reach the infamous 40K threshold.

I also want to add here that the schedule I hinted a few days ago can be considered official now.

Okay, here are the first 4,000+ words of the not-teaser.

The map of the Calyx Hell Stars you might find useful for the first POV was updated a minute ago.

Writing is progressing well, though I think I have still over a week (at least!) of efforts. And yes, this chapter will likely be a small one by TWO standards.

As always, I haven't really betaed this draft, and it is likely I will alter/add things before the final update is sent to the beta and their Commissars. Just sayin...

Calyx Hell Stars temporary map (13-1?)

This is very rough, and I didn't even name all the major Khornate systems by their proper name, but I wanted to give all the readers a first vibe of how big is Valkia's realm in the Calyx Hell Stars.

Why? Oh, because there might be a 'not-teaser' following this post.

Anyway, as you can see, the new Red Angel didn't get what in canon M41 is the entire Calyxis Sector.

Their victory wasn't big enough for that. Is it big enough to give the Imperium some fearful feelings? You bet...

Problem locking, unlocking, and tiers

Right.

As predicted Patreon (the website, to be clear) make big changes, and now there are problems, to my complete lack of surprise.

I am still very annoyed by this new reality.

For the record, the creation of Tiers was in response to the fact that suddenly, you couldn't use the 'lock' function on my end without having Tiers. So I did it, and...well, now they are massive problems, and patrons are complaining (for good reason) they can't see many of my stories.

I suppose this is a good time to announce to all readers and patrons that on Monday, the writing of the next chapter of the timeline-which-shall-not-be-named will resume (the initials are TWO, if you don't happen to connect the dots).

I have decided the new Arc will be called Legacy, making the next update Legacy 13-1.

As I said already in the last updates, I will try for more 'reasonable lengths' for this timeline's chapters. Obviously, the muses may disagree with my plans, but I...
