MORT Ch 12 P5

And he gets robo-boots!? What a jackpot.

I think these robots figured out humanity's wants and needs pretty danged quickly. We need to bypass the identifying pets stage and go right to global domination. I trust their findings.

February 2024 MORT Sequence Poll

Hello, all. It’s time for our MORT sequence voting! Our current exhibit is in flux, so we're combining the options!

Your choices this month are:

Cursynaries Issue 10 Page 547

The spirits of suburbia demand a nuclear family and you're not delivering on that with just one kid.

But I get the feeling that this isn't the first time Clem has made approaches on this topic, and this isn't the first time Mercy's response has been "ask your dad-mom".

Climate Goals

Once again, we can thank the Sins for solving all the world's problems! Don't worry, all the fuzz is 100% natural and willingly donated demonic fur. None of that synthetic plastic-based crud. The demons aren't monsters, after all.

Only a nuclear family can defeat the sinister powers of suburbia! And the Mercs seem like a family that's been exposed to a lot of radiation.

Maw knows how to bring out the big guns! When your found family is threatened, you call out an actual factual family! One that apparently hasn't progressed past the "cake and beer are a valid lunch" phase of demi-god-ness...

And, hey, we're up to a teenage Clem! Halfway caught up with where Mercs ended!

Snow Day

Just a relaxing day for the studio to enjoy a winter's day. Sure, they're SUPPOSED to be working, but that's not going to happen.

Richmond is very protective of his demon buddy.

This guy gets robot buddies AND juice boxes and yet he's still suffering emotional damage? Just futuristic juice boxes alone would cure everything wrong with me, I'm sure of it!

That has to break all kinds of neighborhood leash laws. And I have my doubts that Maw has had all its shots. AND we're not even going to discuss what might happen to the neighborhood  cat population if a grumpy Maw gets loose.

SinComics.com Games Art: Salon Deesse

I had somebody ask me to post the art from the old games we had on the SinComics website from days of old, so here they are for all to enjoy!

Finally, we have the last of the transformation-based games, Salon Deesse. This one was pretty big in scope compared to the others. Some visual novel elements, stealth game, and RPG-ish bits too. And a sinister character that worked for the organization named "Daisy". I think she predates Daisy from Mercynaries? And a villain at a salon named "Bar...

SinComics.com Games Art: Materiel Girl

I had somebody ask me to post the art from the old games we had on the SinComics website from days of old, so here they are for all to enjoy!

Next up, we have Materiel Girl. This one was all about the pun name. Our hero wound up being kind of popular among the fans and showed up in a couple of requests/bonus arts over time. My initial notes mentioned the game having Metroidvania elements, which is still a fun idea for a transformation game and something I used in Tower of Rune.

SinComics.com Games Art: Maiden's Favor

I had somebody ask me to post the art from the old games we had on the SinComics website from days of old, so here they are for all to enjoy!

Next up, we have Maiden's Favor. This one was an early 80s arcade game, really basic controls and all action. It was a lot of fun to make! But all I got back was whining that it was hard to beat. It was an arcade game! Of course it was hard to get the best ending. Bah!

The "Defeat Wizard, Save Princess" prompt still makes me smile as a chees...

SinComics.com Games Art: GladiatHer

I had somebody ask me to post the art from the old games we had on the SinComics website from days of old, so here they are for all to enjoy!

Next up, we have GladiatHer. This one was all about the big reveal. A society built on everybody being big and strong, only to find out that was all a distraction so smart people could actually run things from behind the scenes. If I remember correctly, this one was more of an RPG where everything operated on timers rather than being strictl...

SinComics.com Games Art: Fun House

I had somebody ask me to post the art from the old games we had on the SinComics website from days of old, so here they are for all to enjoy! I'll post a batch today and another tomorrow.

First up, we have Fun House. It started off an interactive story, which was my reason for making it in the first place, and you just went to different URLs based on which route you picked. Then we worked with Thom, of The Wotch fame, to make it a more self-contained game that didn't need a slew of diff...

Weekly Bonus Art Round-Up

Attached are this week's bonus arts for non-Patrons, closing out the month's theme!

Our Patron requests this month are themed around the Sins facing off against New Year's resolutions.

Our next request was by Revan to have the Sins creating a new ball for the New Year's drop and coming to terms with their own perfections. Just pass some snacks up to their belle ball and she'll be good up there for months!

Our next request was by RossP was to see the Sins getting buff for the...

New Years Absolution

Our Patron requests this month are themed around the Sins facing off against New Year's resolutions.

Our next request was by RossP was to see the Sins getting buff for the new year! But c'mon, ladies! Where's the teamwork? At least draw on each other's abs; don't do your own or it's going to be all squiggly.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ross!

Who hasn't looked at a pile of unwanted laundry and contemplated winding up face down in a pile of your own goo?

It's a lot easier to maintain a better-than-thou personality when you can blame all your failings on your dead precursor clones. YOU didn't screw up. Past-You screwed up and she was a jerk.

If this house demands that Willow participates in a neighborhood bake sale, I think it's just safer to just wipe out this whole dimension.

LaDGTMWEHN!

Yakuza 6.5?

Or just how about... That New Yakuza Game

It's back to the brawly Yakuza type games! LaD1 had its RPG fun and I absolutely hated the Judgment games, so it's good to be back in Kiryu's shoes! ...Because I've totally forgotten all the bad and frustrating parts of the brawler games and Gaiden is very happy to reintroduce me to them.

The Home Owners Association of the Damned says no pets and no portals! And don't you dare paint your fence any color other than white!

There's a house visible from my window that still has their Christmas lights up and that makes me happy, but an HOA probably wouldn't stand for that.

Our theme for the MORT is "the Sins" and our museum patrons voted for who our cutest Ruler was there was little doubt that Time would win.

Look, I don't care if you're an abstract snake dinosaur god. Big curves, some bows, and lipstick are what the Sins are going to slap on you for your own good. You try explaining nuance to critters made of shadow goo!
