Game Thoughts: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth

Thoughts on Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth:

That's a very silly name. RoLWDiWL! Or maybe it’s DiWLRoLW, depending on which site you look at.

Despite my love of exploration games, I initially held off until a deep sale because I don't really have any connection to the IP. There are vague memories of a younger me watching a Lodoss movie (show?) probably when the Sci-Fi channel did summer anime movies, but my main knowledge of the series is just that the franchis...

I don't think he's going to be chasing down any museum intruders any time soon. Ooh, oooh! Unless there are some cursed roller skates around here that can be assimilated! Roller derby princess! Wide and sturdy enough to check anybody and hefty enough to not be knocked down.

Fresh air does wonders for everybody and the time just flies by! Sure everybody whines and is paranoid at the start of camp, but by the end, they hate to leave.

MORT Sequence: Beauty Queen

Our current them for the MORT is "cursed clothing" and our museum patrons voted for a theme of "beauty queen" for this month's sequence! The clothes make the man, and certainly save on a lot of prep time for getting ready for a show.

As thanks for supporting the Museum, Patrons get the full-sized image and the image broken into parts! See the attached files for all the bits! Thanks for your support!

At least he didn't start the fight around the death ray exhibit? Getting decked out in frilly things and fancy gloves is one thing, but having your gown weighed down with rail guns and turrets is probably at least 12% heavier and more cumbersome.

I TOLD you Blue Cabin was evil, if their own camp is trying to gas them out on day 1.

Our Patron requests this month are themed around cursed clothing found on the discount rack.

Our next request was by Ross to join back up with Terry, our salon and catsuit aficionado, for a coat that always dramatically billows out in comic hero fashion. You have to figure that with so much hair, dramatic wind bursts are more likely to blind our hero or at least g...

Going Down

Our Patron requests this month are themed around cursed clothing found on the discount rack.

Our next request was by Mel to have Pip and Melody trying out some platform elevator shoes. I thought it would be fun if they kept everybody the same relative height and squashed or stretched you based on how high the heels became. Poor Pip will never be able to experience the thrill of reaching things off the top shelf without help.

Thanks for the suggestion, Mel!

You can't have people wandering around all willy-nilly in whatever they please! This is camp, not some debauched ranch.

Today is page 333! That feels special, right?

Red Hoodlum

Our Patron requests this month are themed around cursed clothing found on the discount rack.

Our next request was by Cydra to see Clem picking up a Red Riding Hood costume that has a bit of big bad wolf in it too. Of course, not everybody's grannies are kindly old ladies that bake treats. Sometimes your granny is a now-imprisoned Divine that your mommies hate for ruining their lives. So about normal for most grannies.

Thanks for the suggestion, Cydra!

And what security guard hasn't dreamed of being able to just let go and slug a mannequin in the face?

Take THAT, city folk and your Brita filters and bottled water. You drink your microbes and you like it!

"Camp stamp" rhymes, so you immediately know that it's good stuff. And then if it smells like oranges on top of that! Well, then it- Wait, if rhyming is good but then so little rhymes with "orange"... We have a conundrum, people!

Did you work for a cursed object during the years of creation through existence? Then you may be entitled to compensation.

Lawyers in this world seem like they'd either be ludicrously overpowered or completely crumble in the face of just... everything.

And in addition to the comic, we have a fan relic for the MORT from Zamiel!

You can get a full rundown of the relic on their page at...

Green Cabin rocks! In your face, Blue Cabin. Or as you should be called, "Bloosers"! Ha, burned.

Today marks the Sins comics birthday! We're at 17+ years. So, SO close to boozin' it up.

Which also makes it roughly the anniversary of Cursynaries at 2 years. Which IS oddly boozin' it up. Willow was probably a troubled child.

Game Thoughts: Arcade Paradise

Some game thoughts about: Arcade Paradise

I WANT to fully recommend buying Arcade Paradise but it feels like a game that’s been sabotaged by its own creators. Many of its issues could be easily fixed in updates so it may one day be worth buying, but I’d say to hold off for now.

I’m going to start with the bad fast, because what’s bad about this game is just terrible. Arcade Paradise has so much going for it and it absolutely dares you to actually like it thanks ...

I'd say that's a sign of respect! Maw knows of Willow's might and trusts she can beat up some reluctant faux housewives, salon owners, and bakers! We'll leave our duo here to give the client a buzzcut and then go rough up some more ladies in button dresses. As nature intended.

If you're going to go through the trouble of enforcing community baking standards, it's best to make sure somebody really appreciates it, right? How often do our ladies get to show off among each other? Buuut, when there's a godly living black hole that will gladly devour all the pies... Just makes a lady feel appreciated. Even if, ya know, she's a client of our crew.

Nobody ever thinks of the collateral transformative damage of magical experiences. Oh, how many cursed high heels has our hubris spawned! It doesn't help that transformed outfits always wind up with so many extra bits of jewelry, layers of clothing, and extraneous lingerie bits. It's a wasteful medium.

Our next request was by Prince Imperial to see fan favorite, Melony Bounds, from issue 4 of Cursynaries, trying on some vampire gear and rocking the school teacher look. Halloween reporting starts early. And the weather lady vampire school teacher ticks a lot of viewership boxes.
