Druid Circle: Circle of the Feathered (a Febru-aviary creation)

If you want to be a druid that doesn't have to wait until 8th level to turn into a bird, this may be the subclass for you.

This avian druid can turn into birds, gain the ability to speak and use cantrips while in bird form, gain bird vision even when not using Wild Shape, and at their highest level in the subclass can turn into a mighty roc.

Stars of Night Bracelet

Like several of the things I've made over the years, this was created during a D&D session. In this one, the PCs made a deal with a fey creature called Babusya Sosna. The 8-foot tall, creepy hag gave each PC a magic item as part of the agreement.

This bracelet was given to the half-dark elf bard and was told by the hag that it has something to do with her ancestry (though what that connection is hasn't been explored).

This Valentine's Day, I bring a little plot hook that could be the start of a side quest or a whole side arc, depending on how involved you want to make it.

This little bird can glow in the dark to attract insects to eat. Don't anger them though, because their bite burns and a wounded campfire swallow has been known to burn down a house or two.

Monster: Feathered Dragon (a Febru-aviary creation)

This one took longer than I anticipated, likely due to the fact that I got sucked into working on a puzzle for three hours or so this afternoon. Plus, this is a set of dragon stat blocks, and those just take longer.

What we have here are four stat blocks for different ages (ancient, adult, young, wyrmling) of a feathered dragon. I wanted something that was both similar and different from your typical dragons, and I'm pleased with how these turned out.

Condition: Delusional

I turned the effect of the confusion spell into a condition, something that could be caused by monster abilities, poison, disease, and so on. This way a DM or homebrewer doesn't have to spell out the effects each time it's used.

I'm adding this because my next monster will have a use for this.

Bard College: College of Motivation

This bard subclass is designed for characters that want to aid allies and hinder opponents. A buff/debuff bard.

Created for a ludicrously generous patron of the D&D arts.

Point of Interest: The Eagles' Nest (a Febru-aviary creation)

An hour's walk from the nearest town, this tall tavern has a view of a nice fishing river and has picnic tables outside for people to sit at. A pair of eagles nest at the top of the place year after year, and the owner and regular patrons are very protective of the birds.

This place was inspired by the name of a bar across the street from my college alma mater. The school's mascot/sports teams are the eagles.

This giant, disgusting, and unnerving monster looks like a mix of dragon and bird parts. It devours anything it gets hold of and leaves a nasty mess as it goes.

Taremaygnewahn

This dangerous blade was first created back when I had just starting running my campaigns using 3e D&D. It made its way to the online version of my world with Neverwinter Nights, and is now updated for use with 5e.

The "gn" is pronounced just like in the word "gnome". :)

Spell: Birds of a Feather (a Febru-aviary creation)

This potent spell enables you to transform yourself and your party into a small flock of little birds. Great for travel or for observing others that would likely ignore a few feathered visitors.

Definitely inspired by the "birds of a feather flock together" idiom.

There are so many types of little birds in the world that are no threat to anyone, but they could still use a stat block for those druids and others that might want to magically transform into one.

The regular version of this little stat block is embellished with some artwork from a book published in 1871.

Monster: Luonzog (a Febru-aviary creation)

This large, ground-hunting bird lives and hunts in groups. They are a threat to potential prey large and small. They have a fearsome roar, which they use to herd prey toward waiting members of the pride.

Feathered Duster (a Febru-aviary creation)

This item originated when the thought of a feather duster (used to remove dust from things) jumed to the thought of a feather duster (a coat).

Since a duster is typically a lightweight coat, I wanted the wearer to feel light...and it doesn't get much lighter than levitation and feather fall effects.

Created at the request of a generous patron, this magical obsidian orb can absorb spells and release them at a later time.

Life's Blood Axes

Created at the request of a generous patron, this pair of magical axes can pull in blood to heal you or hurt the creatures around you.

Crown of the Feathered Folk (a Febru-aviary creation)

Wearing this fancy crown that's covered in gold feathers lets you speak to beasts and monstrosities that are at least part-bird, and it helps you make friends with them.

Yes, the name of this item was inspired by a show at least one of my kids watched when they were little. I had to watch way too many little kids shows over the years.

Theme Spells: Poison

A collection of 16 poison-themed spells for wizards or whoever else the GM wants to give them to.

The .pdf file contain all the spells (and a little intro about the wizard that created them). The .zip file holds each individual spell as an image file for easy printing/handing out to players.

Mighty Dragonslayer's Blade

This magical sword of dragon slaying is in pristine condition. Surely it has been used to defeat many dragons over the years.

Spell: Wind Breaks Things

This spell of wind and sand deals both bludgeoning and piercing damage to up to four targets (or 7 if you want to spend a 9th-level spell slot on it).

It's like chain lightning, but more thematic for desert casters and element-using casters of air and earth.

I continue to make progress on writing and laying out The Book. At the moment, I'm adding monster descriptions and stat blocks.

As a potential future reader and/or DM using such a D&D sourcebook, how would you prefer the monster section be organized?
