It's a pale purple ooze that takes the shape of a big, transparent slug.

If it eats too much, this ooze breaks apart.

Two new types of lizardfolk, just to add a bit of variety.

Monster: Shock Shark

This small shark is not as immediately threatening as a great white (hunter shark) or megalodon (giant shark), but if it feels threatened or is found in larger numbers your PCs may be in for a shocking surprise.

Spell: Infectious Cure

Inspired by the fact that I am currently sick with the 'Rona (it finally got me after almost 3 years), today I give the world (of D&D) a way to cure a lot of people of a chosen disease.

While copper and silver won't do anything against a virus, they are both antibacterial and made sense as a material component. Everyone always has powdered silver for spell use, but you may have to go on a hunt for someone that can or will turn copper into a powder.

Pathmaker

Quickly clear the way forward, through your enemies, with this large, curved sword.

2022-11-19: Included limitation to M or smaller targets (because I forgot when writing it out), clarified that you don't get advantage on the attack roll for the sweep, and removed the 5' push on the sweep (still knocks them down).

Spell: Wakeful Ward

No matter how tired you get, you can still keep watch (or do anything else) normally while you are within the area of this spell.

It also keeps you from being put to sleep against your will.

Bard College: College of the Thriller

Inspired by that one song when it came up on my Halloween playlist yesterday.

Feel free to add this suspense- and fear-based bardic subclass to your game. Don't be surprised when people get a song from the 1980s stuck in their heads.

Spell: Maid Arcana

Don't want to spend money to hire a maid to clean your place up (and possibly put things away where you wouldn't)?

Is the head of the wizard school about to do room inspections?

Got a potential romantic interest stopping by unexpectedly?

Did your parents' carriage just arrive unannounced?

This simple spell is a great way to get your space cleaned up in seconds.

Leadroot Pine (plant)

Inspired by a post on reddit asking about a PC wanting to build an airship, I had this idea. It would be a very, very rare type of tree, making it an ongoing quest to find enough to make planks for a ship.

Feel free to use this for your games, but don't forget to account of the demand for such a tree, growing time and possible difficulty in growing more, disgruntled druids and fey, penalties for poaching such rare trees, and thieves on the lookout for wood from said trees.

Condition: Hallucinating

Sometimes, seeing (or hearing, tasting, smelling, or feeling) things that aren't there isn't because of an illusion spell.

Monster: Guardian Gourd

Symbols of an autumn harvest, different gourds can be enchanted to act as magical guardians.

Works great for a surprise monster for your Halloween or Turkey Day adventures.

Blame Bag

While this magic bag can't be filled with more than it would appear to be able to hold, it does ignore the weight of anything you put into it when you are attuned to it.

Oh, and this magical container has the power to alter reality, so that if you do something, you can leave someone else holding the bag.

Marrowfinder

I haven't created a lot of magical greataxes so far, so I thought up this one today. 

The name came to me first, which then led to me thinking about what could be used to get to bone marrow...so it's a giant meat cleaver that both cuts and breaks things to get to the inside.

Bracers of the Shield Maiden

You can use this set of magical bracers if you don't like to carry a bulky shield or don't have proficiency in the use of a shield.

While the name for these was inspired by stories of Viking shield maidens, I realized while writing the description that these could totally be used like Wonder Woman's bracelets (which became bracers in the recent movies).

Bee Flat

This weapon with the unusual name is particularly effective when used to crush swarms of bugs.

Cats are already ideal predators. What if they could hunt while under water, too?

Spell: Last Moments

Pull memories from the past to experience the last moments of the life of a corpse (or even a corpse that is now walking around as an undead).

Not quite as versatile as speak with dead (can't ask for specific information, shorter time limit since death), but it works on undead and you get everything from the corpse's last memories as memories of your own.
