I loved getting to see their backstories...particularly how Akane was influenced in so many ways by Kana. Not just getting into acting because of her, but also the way that she delved into psychological profiling because of their encounter. I was so excited to see them go toe to toe.....

I do respect his reasoning somewhat, since it shows a lot of growth on his part that he doesn't just view her as an object and wanted to do what she would've wanted.
