For this drawing I wanted to try something a bit different! 

I usually apply directly the tones and do the shading in new layers, but there is an interesting method to color and focus on lighting and shading better, and it's using values. Values are the gray tones you use to define the light or shadows zones, and then, playing with layer modes, you can add later the colors!

[Preview] Scene || Iris and Blake

[Muraka Project] is a fairly long story. I started writing it two years ago and it has become a novel for me!

Relationship between characters and their constant evolution is essential in my point of view, and it is one of the things I like the most to develop.

Iris and Blake had a more or less peaceful life, but because they get involved with Trece and Mura, everything will get complicated and they will have to make very difficult decisions.

2020 Calendar: November (Sketch vs Result)

Just one illustration left!!

Here is the drawing I’ve just finished for November. It’s curious because I felt a bit tired (today I’ve done 3 full illustrations) so I thought this drawing was going to be simpler and less detailed. But I really enjoyed doing it, seriously!

Calendar Thumbnails

#2 Resources for Creators: Define poses to draw

Usually people look for references for drawing some poses. Pinterest is a great platform to find different sketches and studies, and it's an awesome option to understand and learn. 

Another option is using special dummies for drawing. These are a bit expensive but are useful too! And you can see the character from different points of view.
