Inktober Brushes

Hi sweeties!

How is October going? Are you participating in Inktober? :D if that’s the case I will take a look and share some of your entries if you want :D

How am I working this Inktober?

Since I don’t have all the time I would like to, my process this Inktober is so basic: I do some sketches in my sketchbook and later I trace it in Procreate, using the watercolor brush abd the ink I show in the images! It’s my first time using these too...

Side note. While I was drawing this I was listening a Spanish song called “A cántaros”, by Pablo Guerrero the chorus says “Tiene que llover a cántaros” which means “it has to rain cats and dogs”. It’s actually a metaphor of the terrible political situation in Spain in 1972, but aside that fact, the literal meaning and the music inspired me a lot to redraw this!

Color Fineliners [Art Review]

As you probably know, Arteza sent me a pack of 48 fineliners to review. I will post the review on Instagram and a giveaway in the near future, but here, I prefer to talk about fineliners in general, and give you alternatives to Arteza.

If you don’t know what type of tool is this, fineliners are fine ink pens which can be used for do the lineart in traditional painting, for lettering and also, to just writing.

When I create this kind of compositions first I do the sketch, keeping in mind the perspective idea, and later I start to add lines using the guide of Procreate. As there are a lot of elements here, I tend to paint in different colors :)

Today I’m preparing all the rewards of this month! I hope I can finish them in time!

I’m going to start the university again this Monday so I decided to send via email all the rewards :) and I think I will do this every month so you won’t miss anything and also I will feel more relaxed during my classes!

[Tip of the week] How to blend water brushes

Hi sweeties! Arteza sent me a pack of water brush markers (I'm not really sure what's the actual name for these in English sorry!). These are markers / brushes that you can add water and watercolor with them. I've never tried these before but I was experimenting a bit, so I give you some tips in case you want to use them (or if you already have them).

I used to download fonts from Google Fonts and DaFont, websites where you can find a lot of typographies for free. But it's difficult to find a proper typo if you want to fill your comic balloons.

Welcome September!

Hi sweeties!

How has been this first week? I took a huge and relaxed break from social media, spending some days with my family, friends and boyfriend.

I really enjoyed these past days, and I really hope you had a great ones too! But now it’s time to return home and continue with commissions, the webcomic and Patron rewards! Tomorrow I’ll start to post your rewards! Thank you so much for your patience ^^.

Mini Comic _ New Blue

I have to say I really enjoyed a lot doing this little page. I also wanted to play with the blurred effect to generate the idea of memories maybe? 

This was the moment Marzo and Noel met. The uncle of Marzo is a fisherman, and Marzo likes to go with him to fish. I think that is not a way to get to know the most original ... but it is something I had clear from the beginning.
