What IS the party?
So we have a party mechanic. Obviously we want to fill it up if possible to get the most mileage out of it, but who with? Emrys can have friends and allies that aren‘t in the party, but they won’t have plot armor and might leave or fall out of focus. Short term all of these aspects will exist, but we only have 5 slots, so what constitutes an upgrade? Who is worth asking the audience if they get a party slot?

Syl has been selected as our likely first party member. Alchemists are an extremely flexible class, and she will level up alongside Emrys as a party member, so what will she grow into? In all cases she will be more sturdy than our stalwart sorcerer, but how much so is up for debate.
