The last round of purple dye faded SO much faster than normal :( Our best guess is that it was old and lost some of its potency

I'm finally done with travel for the year! Went to a conference in Michigan, and then one last stop by the Saugatuck bookstore before winter really sets in. And then the long drive back to Florida (it's about 24 hours all together). Which normally isn't a difficult trip but for some reason the traffic was insane this time. Anyway, I'm back in my studio and making holiday tiki shirts this week!

Goth Homemaking Update! For everyone who has asked about my Victorian reno project here's how it looks covered in autumn leaves. Of course there is a LOT of work remaining but I think it's so pretty even now, in its haunted / abandoned aesthetic.
Winter will slow the work down but I am still working on layouts and floor plans and securing contractors for spring. And spending a lot of time thinking about paint colors for after the exterior reno is done! What colors do you guys think it...

I decided to go low key for Spooky Empire instead of wearing a big costume because honestly I'm still recovering from dragoncon 😆
