2023 Release Schedule Musings (Poll)

As 2022 lumbers toward a close, I’ve started thinking about 2023’s release schedule. I work several months ahead—I have to if I want to keep up with the release schedule—and shortly, I must start plotting January’s books.

I’m thinking about introducing some new lines (and resurrecting some old ones) next year, and I’m wondering what you think about the options below. These new options would run alongside our current lines, such as Wilderness Dressing, Dungeon Backdrops and...

Into the Village

I get the occasional email bemoaning the vast amount of products we’ve published over the last 12 years. Fair enough; we do have a fair few knocking about.

One line that could really, really benefit from an index is the Village Backdrop line. The line ran for about eight years. During that time, we published books for 5e, OSR (also known as System Neutral), Pathfinder 1 and Pathfinder 2. Into the Lair of the Purple Wisp or the Will-o'-Worm

It’s Monstrous Lairs week! This week, we once again focus on two monsters we really, really should have featured before this. In fact, I’m not sure (again) how we overlooked them.

I’ve sat down repeatedly with Steve Hood—one of the main contributors to the line—to work out what to feature over the coming year. Both times, we missed purple worms and will-o’-wisp. I’m not sure how that happened, but this week we rectify the problem.
