More fancy dress reveals, and a surprise returning character. There's going to be quite a bit of set-up for this issue, since I wanted to make sure everyone's looks were shown off and characters were introduced properly.

I also thought it was a bit of fun interjecting Trevor into the dynamic of the Book Club ladies here, since he is largely on the outside and only interacting with Patty. The return of the Yangs to the main book! I had been planning Meiling's return for quite a while now. I really liked her first appearance and I wanted to make sure she had a spot as a returning guest star. I know it hasn't been too long since we've seen her, since she just had the BCBC issue, but I'm glad I got the chance to do that comic before she showed up in this issue.

I knew I wanted to kick off this issue with showing off Olivia dressed up in a very sexy dress since she is hosting this party. I chose to make Olivia the main feature of the page, but I also wanted to commit a good portion of the page showing off Patty dressing up in a more revealing and sexy dress than her standard fare. I took a bit of inspiration from her look when she went out on the town as Mrs. Devereaux for Patty's style in this issue.

Freckle continuity

I'm thinking about adding in some very faint freckles for Lorraine's skin in this upcoming comic issue, simply because I think it looks good on her and I probably should have been doing it the whole time. They won't be as prominent as other freckled ladies like Randi or Maddie and they won't stand out as much as the Lorraine beach flashback.

Would you guys see this as a "continuity problem" considering she didn't have them in previous issues? Or would you just accept this as me maybe ge...

Book Club Bonus Chapters #4 - Page 17 (Pencils and Inks)

It was a little tricky hiding this up to this point, but I wanted to have Misumi using that buttplug she was looking at when she ran into Lorraine. And I wanted it to be a surprise for both Hiro and for the reader, so I had to make sure my earlier panels didn't have framing that would show Misumi's butt too clearly. Plenty of booty on display now, though!

Group pin-up

As mentioned in a previous post, I want the upcoming flex slots for the next bit to be committed to a group pin-up. It will be a scenic wide shot of ladies on a beach, there will be nude and bikini versions.

I plan to start with probably 3 ladies to begin with, then more Flex slots will be used to add more ladies until to the same pic until it's filled with my OCs.

Now, the question... would you rather see a pin-up that is themed to a single comic IP (aka, just Book Club ladies OR...

The script for this comic was way more challenging than I expected. I knew going in the basic set up that I wanted, but it took several drafts to get that set up in a way that I liked and I felt told the story I needed to tell in 4 pages. This scene has been in my mind for a while now as a direct follow up to the events that ended VCR 3, so I felt like this made a natural continuation into issue 4.
