My OCs in the Sims

Over the past several years, I have been playing Sims 4 on and off. Over time I ended up creating a lot of the cast of the Book Club comic in Sims form, and a few other OCs as well. I didn't want to flood the main feed with stuff that isn't my art, but I thought folks might enjoy seeing the characters I created and all the stuff they are getting up to so I thought I'd use the chat function. I'm using the Wicked Whims mod, so full nudity and sex are enabled.

Booty beach

As mentioned in my previous post, I'm just gonna be doing random pics for a bit, just drawing whatever I feel like as inspiration strikes. Recently I saw a pic of some ladies on a beach and I felt like drawing something similar. The ladies in the pic were mostly slender, so I used some ladies I haven't drawn a lot recently who had slender builds. Though there is a wee bit of an outlier in one particular body part size...

What's been going on...

So, there's been a lot going on for me lately. Just when I was finishing up the colors for the final pages of the BCBC issue, I injured my shoulder. I pushed to make sure I got those pages done because I really wanted to finish it with no more delays. Unfortunately I think that meant the recovery on my shoulder took a bit longer. Then just as my shoulder started feeling better, I came down with the flu. And since then I've been dealing with some other personal things I'd rather not get into.<...

Future pin-up idea - Booth continuation

As I was working on the Olivia and Penelope pin-up I was thinking it might be a fun idea to do alternate versions of it with different characters. I could use the same setting with the booth and keep the stuff I've already drawn and simply have a new lady take a "shift" working the booth. This would also allow for a different character in the Penelope slot. And since I am using the same background and setting it might be possible to make alternates just switching out the women (ie. The final page for this issue. I wanted to end on Hannah and Mikell together. This issue was an attempt at showing two scenes with different vibes for the Robinson boys. Hopefully you've enjoyed this one.

Getting close to the end of this comic, only one page left to go.

As with the previous page I wanted to try to make sure this page was very energetic and dynamic with panel layout. I move away from the standard squares and grids in favor of diagonals to hopefully give it a bit more energy.

What's next?

Just in case I haven't officially announced this, with the current issue of Book Club Bonus Chapters ending tomorrow, the next comic will be Lost Fortunes Mercenaries #5.

I'm going to take about one week between the end of this one and when I start posting the start of that comic. I think I'll post the cover not this upcoming Sunday, but the next.

The script is done and this issue will be 32 pages long.

I wanted to go for a more frantic looking panel design for this page, breaking out of the grid structure somewhat to show Hannah really getting carried away. I have done montage pages in the past and sometimes I feel like they get to cluttered. I have a tendency to try to fill every inch of the page, but for this one I tried to show some restraint and hopefully make things clearer and have that big main image of Hannah riding jump out a bit more.

Book Club Bonus Chapters #5 - Page 25 (Pencils and Inks)

Time to get back to Hannah and Mikell, now that they've had sufficient recovery time and are ready to try again. For this part I was trying to use those repeating close ups that I have used before to show a lot of motion in the Marcus and Aisha scene to instead show Hannah not moving and giving Mikell a chance to get accustomed to the sensation.

I was thinking this would be a good resolution to the Marcus and Aisha scene. They clean up, but still continue to have their competitive natures show through. My hope is that this comes across as Aisha missing her shot on purpose in the final panel.

Also, had to sneak in one final shot of Keisha in the aftermath of her "relaxing" before passing out.

Here's the inks and "pencils" for this page. I did this in a much looser manner than most comics. I didn't write a script, I simply sat down at my drawing tablet and blocked out a rough page layout with the panels I wanted to draw. You can see between the last two sketch pages that there were a few changes made, mainly to the text and the final panel.

Wanted to play around a bit with Aisha being very vocal, but because Marcus is afraid of Keisha hearing, he keeps trying to muffle Aisha with the pillow. Tried to use some "whispering" word balloons to help get that across.

Also wanted to try to get that hard pumping action going on with the use of repeating panels at the bottom. I had scripted it as originally just a three panel sequence of close ups, but I decided to expand it out to 6 since I felt that gave it more action and intensi...

This issue of Book Club Bonus Chapters is getting close to wrapping up. I've already decided that the next comic I will be working on after this one is a return to Lost Fortunes Mercenaries.
