Anaya Returns

This was my second shoot with Anaya Vivian and she had few specific things she wanted to shoot, which we did, then we decided to expand.  These are from the more free-flow part of the shoot.  Anaya still was a little nervous as she was not used to modeling alone in various stages of undress.  I, therefore, had her go into the bathroom to shoot because there was a large mirror there where she could see herself.  That did the trick!  She loosened up and started having f...

Collibrina Gets Tough

A few different takes from my tough girl shoot with Collibrina.

Layla Dresses Up

Layla brought this funky dress with her so we thought it was a perfect look for the balcony.  I'm not sure what you normally would wear with this, maybe tights, but it was perfect for this setting.

Kim's Leather Jacket

Kim Louise brought this fantastic leather jacket with her, which I ended up using a lot in our shoot.  I had her change up some of the other things she was wearing, but always had her with this jacket.  We had great natural light but I still used a single light to the right as fill and to separate Kim from the background.

Araina's Refridgerator

Another post by request.  As far as I know, Araina Nespiak is the only model that I've worked with who is listed in the IMDb (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm5025688/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1).  She started modeling nude when she was 16 (yes, it was with her father's permission).  She is full of energy and takes an idea and runs with it.  I decided to put a light in the fr...

AlexisOrchid Plays in the Water

I had a request for more images from my shoot with AlexisOrchid at Scott's Run.

Am on Deck

This was almost the sum total of all the clothes that Am Montoya brought to our shoot, so it was easy to tell where she wanted to place the emphasis.  Nonetheless, I thought we should take advantage of what she did bring so we went out on the balcony and started shooting.

AlexisOrchid Gets Washed Up

A few shots from when it was warmer outside.  We got lucky with this shoot.  There was a mother and young daughter here when we first arrived, so we started with a bathing suit shoot.  The two soon left so AlexisOrchid stripped off her top and we started shooting again.

Dangerous Kim

Kim Louise is a heavy metal fan and used to dress the part, so it was easy for her to pull together a badass look for this shoot.  We had fantastic weather and great light, so I only used one light as fill for this shoot.

Traceyourworld Mini-Post

I'm a bit short on time today and I am busy processing a recent shoot for a client, so I have just a few shots to post today.  These are from my last trip to Canada, where I worked with Traceyourworld.

Kandy

I had the pleasure of working with Kandy Vert during a trip to Toronto.  We had a great shoot and then she proceeded to show me a few local places.  It was around dinner time and we both were hungry so she brought me to a restaurant near my hotel, surprising me with what we had to eat--poke!  I was unaware that you could find poke outside of Hawaii (I've since found it in a couple of other places, but it still seems rare).  Kandy also is a professional musician and had a g...

Ariel's Log

Ariel Taylor and I went for a short hike near Harper's Ferry and came across this log.  Neither one of us hesitated; I took my camera out and Ariel took off her clothes.

AlexisOrchid Outdoors

This is the set I originally planned to post today.  AlexisOrchid and I have worked together for a number of years and frequently seek each other out when we have an idea for a shoot.  We did this shoot in the middle of summer and it was incredibly hot and humid.  We figured what better idea during the heat than to do a farm girl theme.

Layla on the Bed

I'm going to do two postings today.  I had this ready to go yesterday but apparently forgot to upload and send.  I had prepared a different set for this morning so I'll go ahead and post that, too.

Anna and Her Fur

I had this set ready to go yesterday but Patreon was having an issue and wouldn't let me in to do any file work.  At least all is working well today!  This was my first time using LED lights.  The studio where I shot this had this area set up only with LEDs so I experimented a little with them.  Overall I was not happy with the LED light bank that was there.  It was super easy to use but did not put off enough light.  I had to boost up the ISO and do some additio...

Lena Outdoors

Here are a few photos from my recent shoot with Lena.  I'm still going through the shoot but I figured I would go ahead and post a few.  I found out during the shoot that Lena had seen me before when I picked up Ariel Taylor for her shoot.

Araina Loves Her Fridge

Araina Nespiak and I had fun going through the kitchen and thinking of things to do.  I saw the refrigerator and immediately envisioned using it as a softbox.  I placed my flash on the center shelf and fired it into the back of the fridge.  The result was beautifully soft light with which to play.

Lexi's Lingerie

Lexi Carter and I were looking for a glamourous look with her boudoir shoot.  She had this great lace gown so that served as the basis for the shoot.

Mahjestick Lounging

Mahjestick contacted me during an exploration of the area.  She was contemplating a move to Virginia and was checking out the area.  We starting our shoot in her hotel room then we wandered around the area for additional looks.

Collibrina Outside

I had a chance to work with Collibrina during one of her recent trips to the DC area.  She resides in New York but makes the occasional trip down south.  The overall theme for this shoot was a badass babe, which is a fun theme to use just to see the interpretations.  Collibrina rocked the look!

Dakota Standing

This house has been torn down recently, which is the norm for Northern Virginia.  Old buildings don't stay around long.  That's what made this house unique, it had been abandoned for several years before it was demolished.  It was a great background, but it was the best we had.  I've found a number of interesting abandoned places in Maryland, so I've been doing more shooting there than I have in the past.  I still love trying to find interesting places in Virginia, th...

Ariel Under the Bridge

These shots were taken near Harper's Ferry, WV.  Ariel Taylor and I went there on a weekday morning to reduce the number of people who would be around.  We did not worry much about vehicular traffic, this was near the only road that passed through the area, but this location also gets a lot of foot traffic.  We were lucky, though, in that there were only a few pedestrians and runners around and only a handful of cars drove by.  Ariel dressed quickly when we spotted someone...

Bella and the Couch

I had a problem with my lights during this shoot.  They were not firing at full power so most of this set ended up about one step underexposed.  Fortunately, I shoot in RAW so that I can adjust a shoot up to +/- two stops without adding an unacceptable amount of noise.

Jamie's T-Shirt

Jamie Lee Bauern had this cool t-shirt that she had cut up so we looked at ways to play with it in the shoot.  I used a single strobe firing through a shoot-through umbrella.  I primarily work with small strobes due to their size, easy of transport, and TTL capabilities but one of these days I'll add a couple of monolights to my collection and use them where I can.

Wonderhussy

Here are a few more from my set with Wonderhussy.  She brought her own handgun, which is great because I don't think the airlines would have been very happy if I brought one of my own.  She didn't have a belt or other way to attach her holster to her side, though, so she used a little gaffer's tape.  Worked like a charm!

Bath Time with Fil

This was Fil's first time posing nude for the camera and she was very nervous at first.  She was late for the shoot and almost canceled, but she brought a friend and decided to go ahead with it.  She was very self conscious at first, wearing two pairs of panties if she thought one pair was too revealing.  This nervousness faded quickly as we started shooting and she saw the photos from the back of the camera.

Maria on the Bed

I think I mentioned earlier how much I loved this cabin.  It is a restored 18th century cabin in the middle of rural Virginia.  The owners did a great job of fixing it up.  I loved the warm colors the wood instilled in light.  Naturally, the bed also is an antique, which means it squeaks like crazy with the old springs.  Maria Verano did a great job of warming up the place, too.

Briella's Jeans

Sorry for the long break between posts.  I was traveling for a few days and my new computer had arrived by the time I got back.  Two days of getting the new computer loaded and going and here I am again.  Briella Jaden here opts to highlight her jeans in the best way possible, by making sure that nothing else detracts from their classic look.

Jamie's T-Shirt

Jamie Lee Bauern brought this funky, oversized t-shirt with her so of course we had to use it!  It turned out to be a fantastic prop.  It was so large that she could do a lot with it, to include wearing it as a dress.  She also could tug on it to make it more revealing.
