I was really honored to work on this memorial tribute piece. Honoring a D&D group's friend who is no longer with us.
Both he and his character were a bright light in their lives, and I'm glad I could give them something to help keep it shining.
Other adventures await him and Wyonna, and one day he'll be able to share them with the rest of us.

The venue actively sabotaged this event, and it was a truly awful situation. However, this was a massive blow to the staff, myself, and a bunch of other creatives. Hi friends, just a heads up on some delays for monthly sketches and some other content.
Con prep and a few other minor, but time consuming real-life issues have taken more time than anticipated, and I haven't been able to edit the sketchbook tour video. It'll be up soon!

Finished commission for Kaera! A snapshot of her character Avalaine headed out on a new adventure. I wanted this one to mirror the last commission I did of this character, and I think I did a pretty okay job. They can be displayed together and tell a story.

This past week I took a bit of a vacation. It was much needed. I took with me my POSCAs, some watercolors, my canvas, and some sketchbooks. I wanted to unplug and do somethings for myself and play with supplies I don't always get to. I didn't get to draw everything I wanted to, but I did get to paint these girlies. Lets make next year better.

It was a huge experiment, taking things I've picked up and taught myself over my course of illustrating with alcohol markers, as well as trying a new technique. It's not exactly how it looked in my head,...
