I drew some more art for Skye this time, as Kotone already has a few scenes like this.
On a side note her animations are very close to complete at this point, though I can't showcase how she fits into the story just yet.
I know many people eager for more news but there's really not much I can say right now as I just have to stay focused on finishing the rest of the game and I don't want to reveal anymore beyond what the demos already contain.
It will still take at least the rest...

I was going to post an update before February but I had a lot to deal with last few weeks, including not having electricity for a couple days, but everything is back in order now. I manged to complete one stage in January and mostly finished planning the one remaining though there are a couple old stages I think need some heavy improvement that I've been doing this week.

I have another stage that is now mostly finished but needs more enemies and polish to the visuals. The snowy stage I posted above is still around half way done and is probably the second or third largest one I will make. Hopefully I can have the rest of the parts to it finished within the week. Ninja for hire, Risa Akiyama appears as a strong enemy in Vivid Dead, but often times she takes the role as your opponent in minigames scattered throughout the stages. She doesn't harbor any ill will towards Kotone, but she enjoys fighting, and eating, and money...especially money.
I also included artwork below I want to use for cutscenes that aren't finished yet. Mostly just for the intro, but there might be a few more throughout the game.

Not as many changes to this version but a few important issues that needed fixing have been addressed.
Bug fixes:
-Not able to select X Input controller in control settings.
-Missing ceiling collision in 1-1.
-Pressing X key on the title screen causing an error.

Since all the basic mechanics are done I'm likely going to spend the next few months just doing level design. How many levels it'll have I won't say, the game will probably not take very long to beat, but I'm aiming to make it open ended enough that the player has reasons to revisit areas multiple times.

So in it's place, people on this tier now have the option to request a custom pixel art or sprite image of 128x128 max size, animated potentially but don't expect the smoothest motion. I would allow commissions for full sized art but I'm not sure how I feel about doing that yet and I may not even use Patreon for that if I do end up doing it...
