I want to get more into the habit of drawing cute, silly sketches and simple lines and resist the urge to overwork stuff all the time.
I figured if in my free time I just did a lot more simple sketches, I'd probably get a lot more content out at a more regular pace. Sometimes simple and cute is okay too, right?

Was participating in a redraw thread on /ic/ so I whipped this up.
The one on the left was dated 2008, but it wasn't long until after that that I stopped drawing entirely for like, 9 years? I spontaneously got a tablet in 2017, which was when I started drawing again, but funnily I was still at the exact same level as when I last tried drawing anything, so in terms of active-drawing time this improvement is more like 4 years.

So a while back I drew this cute little angel boi getting corrupted and transforming into a demon. At the time I really liked the design but was too busy to do anything else with it so I just kind of shoved it out and forgot about it. Recently I've been thinking that I want to try creating a few reoccurring oc's, so I dragged the design back out and have repurposed it for my first oc, Finn the I̶n̶corruptible.
Wanted to christen a short art break with some non-committal sketching of a draw this in your own style prompt on /ic/. It's a nice refresh getting to swap to a slightly more realistic style sometimes, even if I went a bit overboard with the design.

Not much to say, just some wips.
I was always annoyed by Ocarina of Time's Fado concept art as a kid because the quality is noticeably different from the rest of the OoT art, so I wanted to try my own take on her design. I actually want to try drawing a little quickie background for this piece since I never draw backgrounds, and it'll be good practice. Ankha was just because I haven't drawn her yet. So Houndoom was the winner for the last poll, thanks to everybody that voted!
I kept changing the breast size since I originally envisioned a big mommy-style Houndoom, but actually the Pokémon is based on a dobermann, which are pretty sleek, muscular dogs, so I went with some healthy C cups instead.
Since the design is actually fairly androgynous I'm gonna make a boi version to go alongside it ( ⓛ ω ⓛ * )
